Recruit Woke, Go Broke

So, according to the woke geniuses over at the pointy building with five corners, military recruits just aren’t smart enough to join our armed forces because they are having a tough time adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

The Pentagon (that’s the building with one more corner than a standard building for the benefit of future military recruits) says that in order to assist potential future military personal in passing the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB test, they will, in the near future be allowed to use a calculator.

According to somebody with a pointy head in the five cornered building, “The department is carefully considering the use of calculators for the ASVAB. We are taking a systematic approach, which will assess the impact of calculator use, and we are developing a way forward for calculator inclusion based on best practices in test development and psychometric theory.”

The Land of Oz – A Cautionary Tale

Let’s be honest, you would have an easier time finding Atlantis, or whatever happened to the bits and pieces of whatever crashed near Roswell in 1947 than you would have finding the Land of Oz.

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by Frank Baum, was a tale of the downfall of the populist movement of the late 1800s. It was a satire regarding the political, economic, and social situation that existed in this country at the dawn of a new century. Oz is the abbreviation for an ounce, which happens to be how we measure gold. The yellow brick road was the gold you followed to get whatever you desired.

To Frank Baum, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” wasn’t a children’s fairy tale, it was political satire, and that becomes more than evident when you read from the stage production penned by Baum himself in 1902, in which the Tin Woodsman wonders about his fate should he run out of oil, to which the scarecrow responds, “You wouldn’t be as badly off as John D. Rockefeller. He’d lose six thousand dollars a minute if that happened.”

The Cause, Effect and Ripple Effects of Globalism

Since August 24th, 1991, Ukraine has been an independent country, and in those 31 years, Ukraine has done nothing to Russia. Yes, since its inception, Ukraine has been corrupt. That should go without saying, but that has been their problem and nobody else’s.

The corruption in Ukraine has been part and parcel of the government there. It has not been the agenda of the Ukrainian people although the people there have been taken advantage of by their government, and they have not enjoyed the sort of freedoms they expected when their nation became an independent state.

To be clear, the government, through several changes in leadership has been corrupt, a level of corruption that has eased somewhat under the current leadership of Volodymye Zelensky, but because of their version of the swamp, corruption continues to exist in Ukraine.

That’s all a commentary for another day. What’s pressing right now is the situation at hand, and the response to all of it from liberal Marxists in our own swamp.

Biden – Obama’s Puppet and Useful Idiot

While what I’m about to relate may be a bit difficult to follow, all I ask is that you read this through to the end. If you do, then what’s happening in our country right now will make a good deal more sense in that the picture will become much clearer.

Let’s go all the way back to May 8th, 1986.

On that date, at the Harris Auditorium on the campus of the City College of New York, a forum was held. The forum’s panel consisted of Joyce Weinstein, Legislative Coordinator for the NYC Office of Management and Budget, somebody from Charlie Rangel’s staff, and one other person I’ll name in a moment.

The billing for the forum was, “A Community Forum on Federal Budget Cuts ‘85–‘86.” That’s important given who our nation’s president was at the time. It was President Reagan, and Reagan was proposing a reduction in government spending. Those on the forum’s panel were against those budget cuts and against Reagan’s proposed reductions in government spending.

Milley – A 4 Star Threat to National Security

“First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment.  It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects.” 

With those words, and a few more, U.S. Army  Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague resigned after 19 years serving our country. He will also be forgoing his pension, but the COVID mandate ala Biden wasn’t his only reason for hanging it up, Hague also cited “an ideologically Marxist takeover of the United States government at their upper echelons,” and “a complete lack of confidence in the Biden administration.”

The Lt. Col. Also wrote, “I would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension. However, I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny – both from enemies outside our nation‘s borders, and those within.”
