The Wall: Dollars and Common Sense

According to David Cicilline, a liberal congressman from Rhode Island, President Trump’s proposed border wall, “is a colossal waste for money.”

That said…it’s been the better part of 35 years since I took junior high algebra, and to be honest, it was not my best subject. I didn’t see the need for it. In fact, my algebra teacher once asked me, in front of the entire class, why I had such a hard time grasping algebra.

My response was simple…

I told her that I used NUMBERS for MATH…and LETTERS for SPELLING. While that snarky line drew scorn from my algebra teacher, it elicited everything from snickers to full-on laughs from my classmates but that’s not the point…

The point is…one doesn’t have to jump through mathematical hoops, flaming or otherwise, to get to the heart of the abject stupidity of Cicilline’s statement. In fact, all one has to do is apply…not common core…but common sense to it.

Take ABC’s news magazine, 20/20 for instance…

The name of the program suggests it has a clear, sharp vision of what’s important, relevant and news worthy. One would expect current topics, in-depth analysis and introspective investigative reporting…right?

Let’s just face some hard, cold facts…truths that liberals aren’t going to like one little bit, but truths nonetheless.

After eight years of the Obama regime, and the possibility of his third term had Hillary won in 2016, America needed to be saved…not just from liberals and/or their socialist agenda…but from itself.

Obama knew full well he wouldn’t be reelected to a second term based on performance, because his goal was to wreck America. He called in fundamental transformation, but make no mistake, his vision was to wreck it, and to win a second term for his regime, he would have to divide America in order to conquer America…hence…the rise of racial politics guided by Obama and the liberal elite.

Deep State’s Global Agenda…Part One

Before I get into the heart of this article, some background on Deep State is necessary. My Right Side Patriots partner and friend, Diane Sori did a great job regarding that background in her recent op-ed, “On Deep State…An Essay in Truth” which you can read by clicking the link.

Recently I saw in a social media posting a question regarding why liberals are so intent on socialism. It seems to be a reasonable question given their hatred of capitalism and their deep desire to institute socialism.

Over The years I have written many times about socialism, the liberal bent towards socialism, and the fact that socialism fails every time it is implemented.

Allow me to give you a couple of famous quotes that have a direct bearing on the question at hand…why are liberals so hell bent on socialism?

Ocasio-Cortez…Nothing But a Facade

Ross Barkan of The Guardian has called Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “the future of the democratic party.” In fact, in a recent piece, Barkan said of Ocasio-Cortez, “Ocasio-Cortez is an unabashed leftist, supported by the Democratic Socialists of America and numerous progressive organizations. She ran on a platform of Medicare for all, abolishing Ice and a federal jobs guarantee. She was unafraid of calling out corporatism and capitalism.”

Tom Perez, the Democratic National Committee Chairman said that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “represents the future of our party.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the woman who won the NY primary over liberal incumbent Joe Crowley, and she is an unapologetic, unabashed socialist. Ocasio-Cortez is also running on a platform of free everything for everybody…

25 Years vs. 500 Days

It’s been almost 70 years…70 long years of animosity and mistrust and it all came to an end on Tuesday, June 12th at around 2:30 am EST when President Donald J. Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un signed a document at the NOKO Summit putting the past behind together signaling a new day not just for our two nations but for the world as well.

And getting to that new day has seen many bumps along the way but the fact is we’re here now. And some are still in awe as to how we got here…and what took so long…but to understand that we must visit the past to truly appreciate the possibilities the future now holds.

Let’s start with the fact that U.S. policy towards North Korea has always been to “deter conflict” on the peninsula, prevent North Korea from developing both nuclear weapons and its corresponding delivery systems, and more recently forcing the North to improve its human rights record. At the same time North Korea wanted the removal of U.S. forces from South Korea, wanted to be recognized as a nuclear power and world “player,” and sought food and energy assistance via sanctions relief.

Syria…Beyond the Red Line

War is a dirty game replete with casualties. Collateral damage…as in civilian deaths…is part of the nature of war, but when it’s children who die only then does the world mourn. And when those children are gassed and die gasping for breath only then does it seem that the world get a conscience and a will to fight back.

“The evil and the despicable attack left mothers and fathers, infants and children, thrashing in pain and gasping for air. These are not the actions of a man; they are crimes of a monster instead,” President Trump said upon hearing that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had once again (allegedly) used chemical weapons against innocent civilians.

The Craziest Democrat Strategy Yet

According to Neil Sroka, a liberal activist and spokesmouth for “Democracy for America,” which sounds suspiciously like “Organizing for America,” the 2018 strategy for his party’s midterm success should include the impeachment of President Trump.

“Democrats should run on an inclusive, populist agenda of free college and paid family leave, but shouldn’t shy away from supporting impeachment.”

Trump: The End of the Deal

Last Friday, after listing all of Iran’s past and present nasty deeds and nuclear deal violations…our president under the guise of the ‘Congressional Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act’ rightfully decided not to ‘recertify’ Obama’s ‘very bad’ nuclear deal…a deal subject to recertification every 90 days.

A campaign promise kept and thank you Mr. President for doing so.
