James Comey’s Kathy Griffin Moment

Oh, the week that was…

The liberals haven’t had a week that bad since early last November, and it all culminated last Thursday with the testimony of James Comey.

Let’s take a look at last week’s liberal low-lights…shall we?

It all started with Megyn Kelly, the big liberal score who left Fox News for the friendlier liberal confines of CNN, whose debut show on the fake news network garnered FEWER viewers than a RERUN of 60 Minutes…stuff that people had already seen.

And her interview with Vladimir Putin? Kelly was nothing more than Putin’s punching bag…at one point, he even told her that SHE should be arrested.

Then, there was Reality Winner…

Government Bureaucracy – Yes…It’s Gotten This Bad

acc 1Reagan said…“Our Government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed. In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.”

To be clear, since the very beginning, there has been an element of corruption and misconduct within our government and, as our nation grew, so too did our government and as our government grew, that element of corruption and misconduct grew right along with it.

Reagan’s comment above came from his First Inaugural Address in January 1981 and since then, government has grown even more.

We now face bigger problems than ever…both foreign and domestic and we, as Conservatives, seek to vote next year to turn things around but even if we retake the White House and hold the House and the Senate…can we expect big changes?

Weekend Edition: It Takes A Village Idiot

Before Hillary Clinton wrote a book about it, it was an old African proverb.

We, as conservatives, have railed against the notion but…Should we?

”It takes a village to raise a child.”

As I think back to MY younger days…To a large extent, there WAS a “village” involved.

My friend’s parents were part of that “village” and so was my church. There were the teachers in my schools, older kids who were either good or bad role models, extended family and neighbors.

Primarily, there were my parents but, to be fair, others; many others were involved in some way, shape or form. A “village” of sorts, I suppose and anything you did, right or wrong, good or bad, was seen by SOMEBODY who knew my parents and had no qualms whatsoever in reporting it TOO them.

Maybe it just took a village to keep an eye out.

There IS another old adage…

“Somewhere, a village is missing its idiot.”

The good news is…We have located the missing village idiots.
