Bud Light and the Woke Dystopian Shakedown

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, otherwise known as the HSBC has downgraded Anheuser-Busch InBev stock to hold amid a “crisis” following Bud Light’s marketing campaign featuring transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

According to Carlos Laboy, the managing director at HSBC’s global beverage sector, “There are deeper problems than ABI admit.”

Gee…ya think?

The most recent figures show that Bud Light sales are off better than 26% over last year, and the plunge didn’t start until the self-inflicted disaster of Bud Light’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney. That raises a couple of good questions. How did Anheuser-Busch get the risk assessment so terribly wrong, and are they hiring the best people in their marketing department to gauge risk vs reward?

Bud Light’s New Dumbest Idea Ever

As the Bud Light saga continues, one thing has become perfectly clear…at the bottom of a deep hole, Anheuser-Busch continues to use a bigger shovel.

Last week, the “trans community” a community that comprises less than one percent of the American population issued a terse hissy-fit of a letter to Anheuser-Busch. That letter, from The Human Rights Campaign  Jay Brown read, in part, “At this moment, it is absolutely critical for Anheuser-Busch to stand in solidarity with Dylan and the trans community. However, when faced with anti-LGBTQ+ and transphobic criticism, Anheuser-Busch’s actions demonstrate a profound lack of fortitude in upholding its values of diversity, equity, and inclusion to employees, customers, shareholders, and the LGBTQ+ community.”

Bud (No Wiser) Doubles Down on Stupid

Well, here we are, a scant two weeks since I penned the commentary, “Drunk On Woke, Bud Goes Broke” and it’s already time for an update.

To refresh your memory like an ice-cold Miller Lite, Anheuser Busch hired what I referred to as “woke liberal arts major who has been indoctrinated most likely throughout her government “education” and certainly at some asylum of higher indoctrination,” by the name of Alissa Heinerscheid as their VP of Marketing, and in her bubble of wokeness, she decided that the way to attract what she called a younger demographic was to ““to evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand,” by partnering with Dylan Mulvaney, a dude pretending to be a woman.

Mulvaney is a “social media influencer” which is a fancy term for an abject moron.

Cinco de Obama – Estúpido!!!

It seems to be high time that we, in this country, pay due respect to the Mexican Army…a fighting force like no other jose 1and the immense contributions they made to the allied effort to win WWII.

Yes… you did indeed read that opening line correctly…Mexico…MEXICO…was a key player in winning WWII.

Why…it seems like yesterday when, as a young lad, I was regaled with stories told by my dad and my uncle, both of whom fought for our nation during that world war, regarding the significant contributions made by the Mexicans.

In the Pacific…the Mexicans got involved in WWII when the Japanese bombed the hell out of Acapulco…sinking 2 cruise ships and setting an outdoor café afire.

Naturally…Mexico rebuilt their fleet and took off in hot pursuit of the Japanese.

There was the Battle of Midway where, had the Mexicans not been engaged in their afternoon siesta…they would have put up a tremendous fight…perhaps sinking a Japanese aircraft carrier or two but, regardless of their Midway midday nap…they did manage to rake out the sand along the beach before dinner.

And who could ever forget their presence in the Philippines where the Mexican Army of landscapers pruned the way through the dense jungle foliage for the Bataan Death March?

Obamacrap’s New Marketing Plan – “FAABULOUUS!!!!”

Yesterday, Jay Carney was at the podium READING a provided talking point regarding how Obamacare was already saving MILLIONS of people money.

I hate to break it to you but, Carney may well be right.

I hate to break it to Carney but, the reason millions are saving money is because they once paid FOR health insurance and now, because of Obamacare…THEY’RE NOT…because they figure it’s better to not pay and just hope nothing goes wrong.

Idiot.

Anyway…That’s not what this article is all about.

Remember just a couple of weeks ago when this administration was out there telling us that what Obamacare really needed to become a success was a…MARKETING PLAN???

I mean, they spent 3 ½ years having Obama market it with lies about keeping your plans and keeping your doctors.

They spent $677 MILLION dollars on the Obamacare website to make enrolling in Obamacare as easy as buying a TV on Amazon.

They marketed it to their own party in congress by BRIBING them to vote for it.

Obama and his crack (smoking) team of marketing geniuses TRIED to enlist the NFL to push Obamacare but only the Ravens took him up on the deal and scored a cool $130 thousand to do…something.

The Obama administration used cute, fuzzy critters and tried to call the whole thing…”ADORABLE CARE!!!”

They paid some advertising firm a boatload of taxpayer dollars to create ads featuring frat boys doing keg stands and horny young women with their panties in a knot over some dweeb touting Obamacare’s Sandra Fluke, slutcare benefits but…sadly…that didn’t pan out either.

Celebrities…Obama and his Hollywood pals were using a gaggle of paparazzi targets to convince us all that enrolling in Obamacare would make us ALL more glamorous but…As soon as the “As-Easy-to-Use-as-Amazon” website crashed…the stars disappeared.

But all Obamacare really needs, to take off like a Russian rocket is…
