Loons of a Feather

By Craig Andresen – Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

Whenever something, like what happened last Sunday night in Las Vegas happens, two very predictable things immediately follow, and both of those things involve lunatics.

First…the conspiracy lunatics come crawling out of the woodwork like cockroaches when the lights go out spreading the wildest, most hair-brained notions of how such an event could have taken place.

Let me provide an example that I saw on social media just a couple of days ago…

The Road to the Truth Goes Through San Bernardino

By Craig Andresen – The National Patriot and Right Side Patriots

sba 1There he was…Barack Hussein Obama…before the bodies in San Bernardino had cooled, before anyone even knew the whereabouts of the murderers, while police were scrambling to gather enough information to even launch a manhunt…talking about gun control.

“The one thing we do know is that we have a pattern now of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere else in the world.”

Has he heard of Paris, France?

“We should never think that this is something that just happens in the ordinary course of events because it doesn’t happen with same frequency in other countries.”

Has he heard of Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Northern Africa, Yemen, Mali, or any of the other places where ISIS and their collective ilk reside?

Oh, but this is different…right? This isn’t politically motivated or ideologically motivated…right? Those places, including Paris, are the places where terrorist attacks happen not places where run of the mill, otherwise average citizens snap and go on a rampage. Those places and those situations are vastly different from what happens over here…right?

Santa Barbara –Virtually Gun Free and Target Rich

sb 1If someone is hell bent on killing others, they will always find a way to do it.

Richard Martinez, the father of 20-year-old Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez who was killed in a madman’s rampage last week in Santa Barbara spewed this nonsense a few nights ago: “Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA… When will enough people say, ‘Stop this madness.’ We do not have to live like this. Too many people have died. We should say to ourselves, ‘not one more.'”

According to this liberal, gun free zone, anti 2nd Amendment father, his son was killed, because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA…”

Really Mr. Martinez? THAT’S how you see it???

You sir are a fool.

Your son was not killed by the NRA nor by politicians who, as you assert, are so craven as to stand with the 2nd Amendment. YOUR son was killed by a liberal entitlement demanding madman…one Elliot Rodger…but you just can’t bring yourself to admit that the fault…the ultimate fault lies with someone, a shooter who shared your basic political philosophy, can you?

Martinez, like so many other liberals, foolishly believes that more gun laws would have kept his son alive. Martinez is but further proof that Reagan was spot on when he said…

Weekend Edition: Newtown CT – Idyllic, Horrific, Courageous

I have never been to Newtown Connecticut…Never even heard of it until last Friday.

In my mind, I can picture it now. I have no idea how accurate my mind’s eye might be but, let me share it with you.

Last Thursday…

Newtown Connecticut was the 21st century equivalent to a Norman Rockwell painting.

It’s mid-December. The colorful leave have fallen, been raked up and taken away but, the sky is a vivid blue.

Newtown, last Thursday, was a clean small town full of cheer.

It’s a place where the owners of stores and shops unlock the door in the morning and those owners work behind the counters during the day. Owners, not managers or corporate employees. Owners who hire their friend’s kids to work after school or on weekends.

Newtown Connecticut…A place where everybody in town actually KNOWS the Mayor and the Mayor knows everybody in town whether or not they voted for him.

Last Thursday, in Newtown, it didn’t matter where you went…To the market, the salon, a bakery or the gas station, the same questions would be asked.

“How are you this morning?”

“What can I get for you this afternoon?

“Are you going to the school concert tonight?”

The concert…

Everybody ALWAYS went to the Christmas concert at the school. That’s where the Sandy Hook Elementary School 4th graders performed.

When Norman Rockwell painted Saturday Evening Post covers, there may have been a few photos taken before or after such a concert but today…cell phone videos are made by almost everybody in the audience.

The audience…
