Weekend Edition: Was the Attack the Cover Up?

It just keeps getting stranger and stranger. By the day, by the hour, almost by the minute, the situation regarding the attack in Benghazi devolves into a rabbit hole of questions Obama and his administration just simply refuse to answer.

Remember when the CNN reporter, 4 days after the terrorist attack, entered the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and emerged with Ambassador Stevens’ personal journal?

Remember how, for 24 days, we struggled to comprehend how a journalist could get there and roam the grounds but, the FBI was “stuck” in Tripoli because Benghazi was deemed to dangerous a place to be?

Remember how, when the FBI finally DID get to Benghazi, they spent all of 8 hours there…”Gathering evidence” and only 2 of those 8 hours actually AT the Consulate?

Well, yesterday we learned yet ANOTHER seemingly off the wall bit of information.

On October 26th, AFTER the FBI had supposedly been to the Consulate, 2 reporters,  Harald Doornbos and Jenan Moussa from Foreign Policy Magazine, entered the Consulate and what, to their astonished eyes, did THEY find???

Sensitive documents strewn about what remained of the building.

Seriously.

WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON???

Some of those documents outlined concerns by Sean Smith, who died in the attack, regarding the lack of security and the fact that Libyan police who were to have been guarding the Consulate had been, of all things, taking pictures OF the Consulate from a building across the street and, as is now being reported, had actually taken photos of the INSIDE of the Consulate.

Listen. One need not be a rocket scientist to figure this out.
