Hoffa Jr. and the Call to Action

You can now add a couple more names to the list. The liberal lexicon has grown. Liberals, the self-appointed party of tolerance has, increasingly since 2008, been showing their true colors – and this past weekend, they have ratcheted up their worn out agenda of name calling.

This time it’s more than rhetoric.

This time, they declared war.

Over the years, when it comes to the Tea Party, liberal/socialists have engaged in a “throw it at the wall and see if it sticks” campaign of labels and name calling hoping beyond rational thought that something, ANYTHING would catch on. Nothing has because all of it, all of the labels, all of the name calling has been purely fabricated.

As the Tea Party began to emerge back in 2009, the first label was, “Astroturf” and it did not stick. The Tea Party was and still is a true grassroots movement – but even in the very beginning, liberals were scared enough to try to label it as a fake grassroots movement.

Soon thereafter, the names and labels came quickly.

Since Astroturf didn’t stick, how about crazies? That fabricated label didn’t catch hold either. Mob was next followed in close order by “Angry Mob.”

Nope.

It’s hard to keep track of the exact order of the labels and names but I believe “Racists” was next. The “Racist” label was easily and quickly dispelled by simple photographic evidence as images from Tea Party events clearly showed people of all races taking up the Tea Party banner as part of the grassroots movement.

After that, liberal socialists decided since “Racists” didn’t take, they needed something more vile to call the Tea Party – so, “Nazis” was their next fabrication in a long line of fabricated and false labels. That didn’t work either.

Other labels have been ascribed to the Tea Party by liberals including, “violent,” “terrorists,” “suicide bombers” and “hostage takers” – but one by one, each has failed to take hold because one by one, each has been a fabrication.

On Labor Day, a couple more liberal labeling of the Tea Party were thrown at the wall. Joe Biden floated “Barbarians at the Gate” – whatever that means. Biden’s label didn’t really get a whole lot of play as his fabrication was completely overshadowed by something else altogether.

While warming up the crowd of union workers for a Labor Day campaign speech by the President, Jimmy Hoffa Jr. floated not only another fabricated label, but what some consider a declaration of war.

Hoffa Jr, in his speech, said of the Tea Party and Tea Party Members, President Obama, this is your army, we are ready to march. Let’s take these sons of bitches out and take America back to where we belong.”

That’s quite the statement.

“Sons of Bitches” is the latest liberal/socialist label for the Tea Party but that’s not the part of the statement the Tea Party is really concerned with. Why should they be as no other fabricated label has gained any traction whatsoever?

It is the rest of that line from Hoffa’s statement…the “Take ’em out” part which has raised more than just eyebrows. Liberals are trying to ignore it or dismiss it with “you know full well what he meant” language and that is exactly the problem.

What exactly DID he mean by it? Hoffa Jr. has not clarified the statement and has even declared he has no intention at all of apologizing for it. Obama has remained mum on the statement. Jay Carney did a song and dance sidestep away from it in the latest press briefing. What DID he mean?

Here’s the issue. “…Let’s take these sons of bitches out…” is not just a fabricated label and typical name calling from the liberal/socialists…it’s a call to action.

Jimmy Hoffa Jr. is not just some run-of-the-mill, garden-variety sort of guy. He is a union leader and arguably has ties to not only organized labor but quite possibly organized crime. Clearly his father did; and Hoffa Jr. has been around long enough to know precisely what that phrase means in certain circles.

Liberals will say there is no proof of organized crime ties to the Taemsters and they would be corrrect in that, for a good reason. It was back in 2008 that Sen. Obama called for an end to an official investigation of the Teamsters.

Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor confirmed the candidate’sstanceand was quoted in The Wall Street Journal, stating that  Obama believes that the board “has run its course,” since “organized crime influence in the union has drastically declined.”

Oh really?

“Take ’em out” does NOT refer to dinner at a fine establishment nor does it mean to a movie.

Indeed his language is course and crude, but that’s to be expected given his profession and their agenda. Crude language is one thing but the issuance to a call to action is quite a different matter.

Instead of trying to contrast Hoffa’s call to action to Obama’s call for civility after the Tucson shooting rampage, as many pundits are doing, the Hoffa statement should be directly compared to a completely similar statement made just a couple of months ago.

It was Representative Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) who, in the process of inciting a union group in Boston back in February who said, “I’m proud to be here with people who understand that it’s more than just sending an email to get you going. Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary.”

So, first we had a Member of the House saying that’s it’s okay to “get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary” while whipping up a union crowd – and now we have Jimmy Hoffa Jr. calling for, “Let’s take these sons of bitches out.”

One statement indicates that it is perfectly acceptable for union members to resort to violence and the next is a direct call FOR violence.

Let’s be completely transparent with the meaning of “take ’em out” in the parlance of the mob or, if one prefers, organized crime.

“Take em out” or, “Let’s take these sons of bitches out” means to murder somebody…get rid of them for good.

To whom was Hoffa referring?

He was directly referring to the Tea Party/Tea Party Members.

Hoffa’s call to action was a call to get rid of the Tea Party and Tea Party Members for good through acts of violence.

Liberals and their pundits are trying to pass this off as something completely different insinuating that what Hoffa meant was to remove the Tea Party Members from Congress. However, given the opportunity to clarify his statement, Hoffa has declined to do so. Apologize for it? No way according to Hoffa. Disassociate himself from it…nope, not Obama nor his mouthpiece Jay Carney.

All of them are standing by Hoffa’s comment.

Surely, liberals will scoff at any suggestion by conservatives that Hoffa just called for violence at best and murder at worst – but how else, rationally, can the Hoffa statement be taken? To take it any other way would require a suspension of reality.

For example, if a person with a background in geology stated he was going to buy a rock, it would be rational to believe that person meant to purchase a stone of some sort. If a person with a background in illegal drug use stated he was going to buy a rock, it would be rational to believe that person was going to purchase cocaine.

For Jimmy Hoffa Jr., the phrase, “Let’s take these sons of bitches out,”  has a certain meaning and lacking any retraction of his statement or clarification of it one must take the statement at face value given his background.

Is this to say that liberals and or union Members will broadly take the action call for by Hoffa? Let’s hope not. But if a liberal with more loose screws than afflict the majority of liberals takes Hoffa’s call to action at face value, the outcome could be bloodshed.

That is why the failure of Hoffa to retract or apologize and the failure of the unions and the President to condemn the statement are puzzling to say the least. Remember the uproar from liberals when Sarah Palin used the word “target” along with surveyor’s symbols on a map when addressing a broad political campaign? Rationally, because of Palin’s political background and because “targeting” is a term often used in political campaigns, it was as irrational to believe she was referring to violence as it is nor irrational to believe Hoffa isn’t.

And Joe Biden is calling the Tea Party “Barbarians???”

A call to action has been issued by Jimmy Hoffa Jr. on behalf of union members and liberals. Let’s just hope nobody tries to see it through.

  1. I think there might be a deeper plot in the works here. Perhaps Hoffa shooting off at the mouth is a deliberate attempt to instigate some mentally unstable person, who has aligned themselves with the Tea Party Movement, to commit an act of violence against members of the Union or even Hoffa himself, and therefore give the coward Obama and his ilk a reason to use the Department of Homeland Security to label the Tea Party as a terrorist group and shut them down, thus silencing the voice of the American people against government tyranny. I would not put anything past Obama. He is a traitor to the American people. He is just sucking up to the unions now because he went back on his campaign promises to them too and he’s afraid of them, just like he is afraid of the Tea Party Movement.
