There is no real reason why you would know the name, Ben Schrader, but maybe you should. Ben Schrader was the chief of the criminal division at the US attorney’s office for the Middle District of Tennessee. “Was” is the key word here. Ben Schrader resigned on May, 21st, 2025.
Ben Schrader didn’t just walk away from such a high-level position because some bad guy skated on charges or got off on some technicality. Nope. Ben Schrader resigned…quit…because some bad guy was being held to account for his evil deeds.
Are you getting this? A FEDERAL PROSECUTOR, in fact the CHIEF OF THE CRIMINAL DIVISION OF THE U.S. ATTORNEY’S OFFICE for the Middle District of Tennessee…the guy in charge of seeing to it that bad, evil people get what’s coming to them in court, and then locking them away from good decent people for a long, long time…QUIT his job because a really, really bad guy had just been held accountable by a grand jury.
The case at hand, the case that was just too much for Ben Schrader, the Chief of the Criminal Division of the Middle District of Tennessee to handle thus he turned in his resignation is the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia – The “Maryland man” that liberals tried to turn into a saint. Abrego Garcia was found by a grand jury to have allegedly engaged in “alien smuggling and conspiracy.” According to the now unsealed indictment, Abrego Garcia played a “significant role” in a human smuggling ring operating for nearly a decade. AG Pam Bondi described Abrego Garcia as a “full-time smuggler who made more than 100 trips, transporting women, children and MS-13 gang-affiliated persons throughout the U.S.”
Currently, there are two felony counts against Abrego Garcia, and if convicted, each count carries a maximum sentence of ten years meaning that if convicted, the “Maryland man” would be locked up in our country being fed, clothed and housed on the American taxpayer’s dime for potentially twenty years and then…he would most likely be deported back to El Salvador.
If Abrego Garcia should be acquitted of the charges he now faces…he would immediately be deported back to his prison cell in El Salvador.
Now, one would think that this is just the sort of case that any Chief of the
Criminal Division of the Middle District of Tennessee would want to sink his or her teeth into as a federal prosecutor, but not Ben Schrader. You see, Ben quit rather than prosecute this case because… he was afraid that the case was being pursued for political reasons.
Well, let’s just have a look into that shall we?
Is this case political? Yes, but it is so for a very particular reason. Abrego Garcia, the illegal alien, MS-13 gang member, wife beater and now accused human smuggler had a deportation order against him, and because President Trump did what Biden’s regime refused to do, Abrego Garcia was indeed deported. Liberals, the liberal elite and the mainstream liberal propagandist media then decided to make Abrego Garcia into a poster boy and saint in their ongoing crusade to destroy our nation by claiming that the “Maryland man” was denied due process. That was a false claim. He had his due process not once, but twice.
Abrego Garcia had a standing and active deportation order against him which was handed down by an immigration court. That was due process number one. He appealed that decision and his appeal was denied by a different immigration court. That was due process number two and the deportation order was upheld. The fact that due process had been provided didn’t matter to the liberals and they claimed that Abrego Garcia was just a garden variety guy living his life with his wife and kids in Maryland when he was suddenly, and for no reason snatched up off the street and sent to a prison in El Salvador.
Liberals demanded he be returned to the U.S., and liberal judges then ORDERED the Trump administration to bring Abrego Garcia back. Senator, Chris Van Hollen, scurried down to El Salvador to meet with, and have drinks with the “Maryland man” even though…on his way down there…it broke that Saint Abrego had beaten his wife, she had taken out restraining orders against him, and that he was also engaged in human smuggling. Other liberals soon followed Van Hollen, though most were denied access to Abrego Garcia.
Last weekend, Van Hollen posted to X, “After months of ignoring our Constitution, it seems the Trump Admin has relented to our demands for compliance with court orders and due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This has never been about the man—it’s about his constitutional rights & the rights of all.” Here again we note that Van Hollen is intentionally ignoring reality. He tries to claim, all reality aside, that Abrego Garcia was denied his due process and that President Trump failed to comply with court orders, when just the opposite is true. Not one but two courts ordered Saint Abrego to be deported, and Trump complied 100% with those orders, and Saint Abrego WAS provided due process by BOTH courts that ordered him to be deported.
Liberals, the liberal elite, the liberal propagandist media and liberal activist rogue judges ALL cried foul, jumped up and down, stomped their little liberal feet and DEMANDED the return of Saint Abrego, and they were so blinded by Trump Derangement Syndrome that they never noticed the investigation into Abrego Garcia, nor did they notice the seating of the federal grand jury which resulted in the federal indictment of their beloved Saint.
So yes, Ben Schrader, this case IS political but ONLY because LIBERALS…the liberal elite, liberal media propagandists, liberal activist judges and now it seems you, a liberal now former federal prosecutor MADE it political, but it doesn’t end there.
Saint Abrego will, no doubt, have a team of liberal defense attorneys being paid for by deep pocketed liberals like George Soros but if anyone thinks that this case is on a fast-track to a trial court…think again. I can almost promise you that the next big step in this process will be for Saint Abrego’s team of liberal attorneys, the liberal elite and the liberal propagandist media to claim that Saint Abrego can’t get a fair trial due to all the publicity surrounding this case and they will all start demanding his release from custody.
Never mind that the case would NOT be political had the liberals straight down the line not made it so, and never mind that there would NOT have been the immense media scrutiny swirling around this case had not the liberals straight down the line made this wife beating, human trafficking, MS-13 gangbanging illegal alien their saintly poster-boy while driving the media coverage of him 24/7 for months.
The same ilk that had no problem whatsoever with putting then candidate and now President Donald Trump on trial in NYC will scream bloody murder at having their saintly Abrego Garcia in a Tennessee court as Tennessee is predominately a red state, and they’ll call it a political witch-hunt because what’s good for the goose isn’t good for the Abrego Garcia gander.
I also fully expect a ramping up of the street attacks against ICE agents and Border Patrol agents as well, the likes of which we are seeing in the deep blue bastions of Minneapolis and Los Angeles, and not unlike what we saw a month or so ago in New Jersey which led to the arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and charges being filed against liberal congresswoman, LaMonica McIver. In fact, it is already ramping up as just a week ago, congressman Hakim Jefferies vowed to identify all ICE agents involved in deportation raids thus threatening those agents with targeting by drug cartels or other liberal friendly crackpots.
In the rotting minds of liberalism, Kilmar Abrego Garcia has become the latest in a long line of manufactured heroes including the ilk of Trayvon Martin, Eric Gardner, Michael Brown and George Floyd all of which were canonized by liberals and all of which were championed by corrupt or domestic terrorist organizations such as the BLM and ANTIFA. When you make political saints out of common street thugs and drug addicted violent criminals, and then employ organized crime entities to stage bought and paid for riots and target law enforcement for defunding and death…what have you got?
You have anarchy.
That is exactly what the liberal collective wants. They are advocating for anarchy. Screw the rule of law, screw the law-abiding American citizens and screw the American culture. Remember, Obama called it “the fundamental transformation of America,” but I call it as I see it, and this is nothing short of yet another attempt by the liberal collective to cause the overthrow of America. When a political party engages in the advocating for anarchy and champions violence in the streets, it causes chaos which leads to…dare I say it…an insurrection.
Finally, how dare President Trump do anything to drop the hammer on the hoped for insurrection, end the chaos, or hold accountable those who openly engage in or advocate for anarchy lest he and all those who support his efforts be labeled “threats to democracy.”
Well let me tell you something. President Trump IS a threat to democracy, and so too am I and so are millions more who fully understand that the United States is not now, nor has it ever been a democracy. What we are, and what we have always been is a Constitutional Republic and the primary thing standing between us and a North Korean style democracy is the rule of law as it exists in our Constitution. Democracy is exactly what we see liberals trying to do in the streets…it’s mob-rule…and liberals can either stop it themselves, or the terms of Martial law may well be imposed.
Just this past weekend. L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, who allowed parts of her city to burn just a few months ago while she was out of the country, issued a statement regarding ICE enforcement and the resulting riots in what’s left of Los Angeles stating, “As Mayor of a proud city of immigrants, who contribute to our city in so many ways, I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city. My Office is in close coordination with immigrant rights community organizations. We will not stand for this.”
The way I see it, Bass has three options…let your city be overrun by the ilk of Abrego Garcia thus putting American citizen’s lives at risk, sit the hell down and shut the hell up, or face the very real prospect of your smoldering cesspool of liberalism being cleaned up, and cleaned out by Martial Law.
Honestly, these liberals don’t give a rip about Abrego Garcia, and they really don’t want Trump to just turn him loose. What they care about is 100% political, and they’re thinking that even if Saint Abrego gets locked up now for the next twenty years, eventually there will be another democrat in the Oval Office and they can turn the autopen ON to get their patron saint of anarchy OUT with a pardon purely for political theater..
That’s the real bottom line.
