Wake Up America

Last week, United Airlines got woke. They announced that over the next decade, 50% of all 5,000 pilots they train will be women, or people of color.

Good for United Airlines.

They have decided that skin color and gender is far more important than the pesky, nit-picky requirement that their pilots be able to deliver their passengers to the scene of their destination rather than to the scene of the crash.

Personally, I don’t give a happy damn what color or gender the pilot is so long as they know how to fly the plane, but when you make color and gender the deciding factor in who you train to be the pilot…my major concern isn’t your major concern.

There’s a lot of this sort of wokeness going around and none of it makes any sense whatsoever.

Up is down, left is right, right is wrong, and lies equal the truth. That is the liberal view of the world around them, and while it seems like something new, it isn’t.

The decidedly backwards mindset of today’s liberals has nearly always been their calling card, and when they have historically been outed as being on the wrong side of any given issue, they ultimately accuse Republicans of the wrong they, themselves commit.

We all know that it was Hillary and the democrats who were engaged in collusion with the Russians leading up to the 2016 election, and Uranium One is proof positive of that. It was Hillary and the democrats who conspired with Russian agents to manufacture the Steele dossier which would then be used in an attempt to frame first candidate, and later President Trump.

Last Tuesday, liberals in congress held a hearing regarding “white nationalism.” That hearing was a stunt. It was a ploy to advance the liberal platform, and to advance the liberal 2020 campaign strategy.

Liberals have long tried to label the Republican Party as the party of division.

That’s a lie.

Liberals have long tried to label Conservatives as racists.

That’s a lie.

History, both recent and antiquated shows a vastly different reality. It has always been the democrat party that has extolled racism, division, segregation, hate and victimhood…not the Republicans…not the Conservatives.

Reality doesn’t mean a damn thing to liberals…

Savor the Moment, But Heed the Warning

What transpired over the past two weeks, with regard to the nomination process of a Supreme Court Justice, was vile, beneath contempt and well beyond the pale.

President Donald Trump had nominated a Judge with an impeccable judicial record for the position. Judge Brett Kavanaugh had already passed, without so much as a single red flag, six federal background checks throughout his career.

One of those federal background checks actually allowed him access to our nation’s nuclear codes and you can bet had anything even a little off been discovered in such a deep and complete background check, Kavanaugh would have never held any further federal position, and certainly would never have eventually found himself in a position to become a Supreme Court nominee.

The American Bar Association gave Judge Kavanaugh its absolute highest ranking based on everything from his rulings, decisions, writings and his demeanor.

While there will always be differences in the way liberals and Conservatives…

Trump’s “John Miller” Con…Exposed

Back in 1991, Donald J. Trump was giving interviews to magazines and newspapers. That miller 1in and of itself, is not surprising. But he was giving those interviews, not as Donald J. Trump…but as Donald Trump’s PR spokesman…John Miller.

In fact, in a court case in 1990, Trump admitted, under oath, that he sometimes posed as John Miller or John Baron…concocted PR representatives for himself.

Add to that, the fact that Trump, as Miller, once gave an interview to People magazine where he said some rather off-the-cuff things regarding Marla Maples and Carla Bruni. The reporter, suspecting that she had, in fact, been talking to Trump himself, played that recorded interview FOR Maples and she IDENTIFIED the voice on the tape AS Donald Trump.

Now, fast forward 25 years, to just a day or two ago, when in a telephone interview on the Today Show, when confronted with the leaked tape of the Miller interview…Trump claimed it WASN’T him and he didn’t even know a thing ABOUT this John Miller thing.

“No, I don’t think it — I don’t know anything about it. You’re telling me about it for the first time and it doesn’t sound like my voice at all. I have many, many people that are trying to imitate my voice and then you can imagine that, and this sounds like one of the scams, one of the many scams — doesn’t sound like me.”

A Matter of Trends, Numbers and Momentum

Ted Cruz won two states in the March 5th showdowns. Donald Trump won two states in the March 5th showddel 1owns. Trump’s camp is happy to say they won as many states last Saturday as did Cruz but that doesn’t really tell the whole story, does it?

Cruz won 68 delegates last Saturday. Trump only won 53 delegates that night and that’s a lot more telling than the two to two tie isn’t it?

But even that doesn’t tell the full story.

Trump under-performed in Louisiana. In polls leading up to that state’s primary, Trump held a double digit lead. It was supposed to be an easy win for Trump and while he did win that state…he only beat Cruz by less than four points. It was close. It was a whole lot closer than Trump wanted it to be and a whole lot closer than Trump thought it would be.

Trump also won Kentucky, but in polls there, before the March 5th caucus, Trump also enjoyed a double digit lead over Ted Cruz by a margin of 35-15 according to RealClear Politics. That was a 20 point lead but on caucus night, Trump barely managed to win by 35.9 to Cruz’s 31.6…a difference of only 4.3 percent.

Interesting, but there’s more to be told before we can accurately see the big picture here.

Real Facts vs Transparent Diversions

Well, we knew this was going to become the latest attack mode to be employed by Donald tb 1Trump and we knew as well, that his substance-free appraisal would be echoed, far and wide, by the blind sheep who follow and support him.

Now that Marco Rubio has emerged as a serious contender to Trump’s coronation as Dictator in Chief…Trump is calling into question Rubio’s eligibility, and social media is abuzz with Trumpers sharing his latest blather.

Oh, you can scream “CONSTITUTION” and “NATURAL BORN” together in the same sentence all you care to but it doesn’t change one simple fact…that nowhere in the Constitution exists a definition OF Natural Born Citizen. It doesn’t. That’s a fact. Like it or not.

And you can scream that everybody back then knew what it meant and it meant that to be a Natural Born Citizen, one had to have TWO parents who were BOTH citizens but there is yet another nagging fact regarding that misguided assessment…

It isn’t true. More on that shortly.
