Obamacare is Dead

Late last Friday, a ruling from U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor, a federal judge in Texas appointed by President George W. Bush, found that Obamacare is unconstitutional after last year’s tax bill eliminated the penalty for not having coverage.

Shortly after the ruling came down, President Trump issued a tweet applauding it, and stated, “Obamacare has been struck down as an UNCONSTITUTIONAL disaster! Now Congress must pass a STRONG law that provides GREAT healthcare and protects pre-existing conditions.”

Yes, they do…and…no they won’t…but before I get into why congress won’t do what needs to be done, allow me to provide a bit of a refresher course on how we got to this point…

Mad Maxine…As Unstable As They Come

“A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House.” (House Rule 23, clause 1.)

Given that particular rule, and considering what House member Maxine Waters said to a small group of like mindless liberals in Los Angeles…“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them! And you tell them that they are not welcome, anymore, anywhere,” it would seem Mad Maxine is in trouble.

Her statement, an incitement to violence could, and should get her expelled from the House, and it could, and should land her ample arse in an official investigation from which jail time could, and should be forthcoming.

That is the most of Mad Maxine’s problems, but it’s the least of the problems for the liberal party.

Syria…A War In The Shadows

Misinformation is a key strategic component of any battle plan. George Washington knew this as being the nature of war in regards to the public and the press.

The war in Syria has for many years been classified by both the mainstream media and by politicians at large as the Syrian Civil War, but nothing could be further from the truth for the fact is that the civil war in Syria is a proxy war being waged by just about everybody except the Syrians themselves.

To fully understand this concept one must first know the players involved in what’s happening inside Syria and why they are so engaged.

And while we hear daily about the “rebels” who are trying to oust duly-electd Bashar al-Assad from power, know that for the most part those “rebels” are not all Syrians per se but are outsiders being driven and financed by entities outside of Syria.

Syria…Beyond the Red Line

War is a dirty game replete with casualties. Collateral damage…as in civilian deaths…is part of the nature of war, but when it’s children who die only then does the world mourn. And when those children are gassed and die gasping for breath only then does it seem that the world get a conscience and a will to fight back.

“The evil and the despicable attack left mothers and fathers, infants and children, thrashing in pain and gasping for air. These are not the actions of a man; they are crimes of a monster instead,” President Trump said upon hearing that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had once again (allegedly) used chemical weapons against innocent civilians.

Turning “Radical” Upside Down

“Allahu Akbar” is NOT Arabic for…”Oops…My bad.”

I just wanted to get that out of the way in the shadow of inane statements from NYC Mayor, Bill deBla-Bla-Bla who rushed to the nearest microphone after the Islamic terrorist attack last week in Lower Manhattan.

Mayor deBla-Bla-Bla wanted to let the entire world know that just because some Allahu Akbarbarian jumps out of a rental pickup truck after plowing through a crowd of bicyclists and pedestrians, killing 8 and injuring several more…screaming in his native tongue that his misogynistic, pedophile prophet was wonderful…is no reason whatsoever to leap to a rushed conclusion that it was a terrorist attack.

Not that it hasn’t been done before…

Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay Massacre Facts

“It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night.”

That’s what Jason Aldean had to say this morning in the wake of last night’s Las Vegas massacre. Aldean was on stage, performing at the outdoor country music event when a coward, Stephen Paddock, opened fire with an automatic weapon from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay.

Coward, and mass murderer Paddock shot and killed himself before police were able to get inside his room, but not before taking the lives of at least 50 concert attendees, and wounding at least 200 others.

North Korea’s Fate is in Kim Jong-un’s Hands

The question being bandied about on social media, as well as the mainstream media over the past few days is simple…should a preemptive strike be launched against North Korea?

Given the complexity of the issue itself, perhaps the question is, in fact, too simple.

In a recent Facebook comment to that very question, John Hawkins, the owner of Right Wing News, answered that simple question in what one would assume was a well thought out way by stating that, “Not unless we were very sure a nuclear attack was coming. Reason being…A conventional strike would lead to Seoul being leveled almost no matter what we do. A nuclear strike is a terrible post WW2 precedent to set, rains fallout on South Korea and China and could alarm China enough (are they nuking us or North Korea) to cause them to launch nukes. Our best options would be sanctions, blockades and working with China (which Trump is having some success doing) to get the Norks to get rid of their program.”

As I said, one would assume that to be a well thought out response, but assumptions are often, and in this case, most definitely wrong…and let me count the ways…

Right Issues…Wrong Suspects

Donald Trump Jr. is, apparently, the very first person connected to a presidential campaign, in the history of historic things, to take a meeting with someone who is purported to have information of some interest on the opposition candidate.

Never mind that Ted Kennedy, while making his own run at the White House, took a meeting with the KGB in an effort to get the goods on Ronald Reagan.

It’s not the same thing, and you know it.

This was Donald Trump Jr. taking a meeting with a Russian attorney…Natalia Buyadamnvowelortwowhydon’tya…whom he was led to believe had some dirt on Hillary Clinton. See…completely different from Ted Kennedy meeting with the KGB to gather dirt on Reagan. Completely different…not even close to the same thing.

Georgia on My Mind

Last Tuesday night couldn’t have gone any worse for liberals unless Megyn Kelly had showed up on CNN to try and spin the special House election in Georgia their way.

As it was, the CNN fake news brigade was a bit long of face when it was over and all the votes had been counted. The outcome was not what they had hoped for, and it certainly wasn’t what liberals nationwide had paid through their noses for.

That special election, to fill a House seat from Georgia had become the most expensive campaign in the history of the house by the time all was said and done, as liberals from sea to shining she ponied up more than $24 million dollars to try and buy the seat for their candidate, Jon Ossoff.

They failed.

Built Upon a Lie

Albert Einstein once said, “I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones”…and how right he is but not for the reason you might think.

Both modern Jewish and Christian beliefs still hold to traditions from the Old Testament in regards to creation with both great faiths believing that Adam was created from the dust and dirt by the hand of God. Also, Jews believe the place where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac to God the Father and where Christians believe that Jesus was crucified is holy and sacred ground. And built upon this holiest of grounds is also where the First and Second Temples of the Jews were built, and where certain denominations of Christians believe the that Third Temple will arise and be the site of Jesus’ Second Coming and where Jews believe the messiah will first appear.

But what do these varied beliefs have as a common point of reference…simply…the land itself upon which these events did occur and which might possibly see holy events again occur in the future. And that land itself is known as The Temple Mount…an area of only thirty-five acres in the southwest corner of Jerusalem’s ‘Old City’…yet it is the most contested piece of land on Earth. And that contested land sits under…yes under…the Al-Asqa mosque (Masjid Al-Aqsa)…which in Arabic simply means the ‘farthest mosque.’
