Newt Gingrich, in an epic comeback has taken South Carolina and we have a whole Newt race!
Florida, with their primary, is just 10 days away.
So far…3 states…3 winners.
Early returns indicate Gingrich has won in South Carolina. Romney has come in second. The race for 3rd, after the early returns is too close to call between Santorum and Ron Paul.
NO GOP CANDIDATE HAS RECEIVED THE NOMINATION SINCE 1980 WITHOUT WINNING SOUTH CAROLINA but this is a race of firsts and anything can still happen.
Florida and their primary is just 10 days away and for now, all 4 candidates are heading in that direction but as for tonight, the night belongs to Gingrich and it’s a whole Newt race.

Projected now that Rick Santorum will finish 3rd with Ron Paul coming in last place in South Carolina!!!!!
Interesting to see Newt win South Carolina, especially after the attack from the media this week, particularly ABC.

A clear demonstration by the voters in South Carolina that substance matters and personal attacks on one’s personal life didn’t matter. Who will defeat Obama in the debates when he wins the nomination? Newt! Who has a proven track record of actually making thing happen as Speaker of the House of Representatives? Newt!
