Randa Jarrar is, or was a tenured professor at Fresno State University who, last week, tweeted her disgust for former First Lady Barbara Bush upon the 92 year old death.

Jarrar tweeted, “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal,” and she added…“Fuck outta here with your nice words.”

Jarrar also sent forth this tweet, “PSA: either you are against these pieces of shit and their genocidal ways or you’re part of the problem. That’s actually how simple it is. I’m happy the witch is dead. Can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis have. Byyyeeeeeee.”

With a Fresno State University investigation under way, Jarrar is on leave for the rest of this semester, and she has left the country even as her supporters rally on her behalf.

Let’s get something straight here…

What she tweeted was, without a doubt, in poor taste, but she had every right to tweet it, or to even say it out loud as per out 1st Amendment right to freedom of expression.

And therein one finds the absolute hypocrisy of liberal loons.

My questions to those loons is as simple as Jarrar’s statement…where in the hell were those same loons when Milo showed up at Berkley? Where were they when Ann Coulter was scheduled to be there? And for that matter, where were the liberal 1st Amendment loons when a college coed at the University of Nebraska was exercising her 1st Amendment rights in handing out literature related to a conservative group on her campus?

If these same rallying for Jarrar hypocrites are so bent on defending her 1st Amendment rights, why aren’t they equally bent on defending the rights of distasteful groups like the KKK, or neo-Nazis to freely express their beliefs?

Furthermore…if these hypocritical loons are going to rally around Jarrar…why aren’t they demanding “free speech zones” on college campuses be removed so that every square inch of every college campus, or every square inch of everywhere else is a free speech zone as our 1st Amendment says should be the case?

Why aren’t these same, rallying for Jarrar liberal hypocrites, demanding an end to Facebook’s censorship…an end to Facebook’s “community standards,” and an end to Facebook jail for those who post something that might offend someone else?

Our 1st Amendment states clearly that, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

It does NOT say a single thing about only being free to freely express one’s self in a designated “free speech zone,” nor does the 1st Amendment say a single thing about being able to freely express one’s self so long as nobody is, or pretends to be offended.

Look all you want…pour through our founding document for as long as you wish, but you will never see one thing regarding a right not to be offended, but let me ask these rallying liberal loons who support our 1st Amendment when one of their own makes distasteful remarks, but insist that those who might make remarks they find distasteful be banned from appearing on college campuses…where are they in relation to rallying in favor of our 2nd Amendment?

Simply put…liberals…you can’t just rally for one Amendment, and only when it suits your particular needs, but not rally for all of our Amendments without showing, in the glaring light of truth, your abject hypocrisy.

Jarrar had every right to express herself as she so chose…but her belief that tenure is absolute, and that because she has it, she cannot be fired is wrong.

Gregory Scholtz, director of the Department of Academic Freedom, Tenure, and Governance of the American Association of University Professors, a group that strongly defends professors’ right to speak as citizens without being sanctioned., says a university can seek a dismissal if a professor’s speech — even outside of the classroom or university setting — raises “grave doubts” about fitness for the position.

Whether or not Jarrar’s tweets rise to such a level falls outside her freedom to express herself and should e judged by her behavior in a classroom, not with regard to her tweets. Jarrar had every right to express herself as she so chose…Fresno State has no reason to investigate that particular matter any further than the 1st Amendment…and freedom of expression everywhere in this country is guaranteed, so the need for “feee speech zones” is, in and of itself, a violation of that Amendment, and therefore, unconstitutional.

That said…I have every right to express my feelings that Randa Jarrar is a nasty, vile, and loathsome little troll, a hypocrite, and further, a coward for fleeing the country. I also have every right to express that those who rally on her behalf, and yet remain silent regarding the 1st Amendment where Conservatives are concerned, are abject hypocrites, and further, that those rallying for Jarrar who rally against any of our other Amendments, including the 2nd Amendment, are both sad, sorry hypocrites, and intellectual worms who have no standing in such matters.

As a Constitutional Conservative, I stand for the constitutional rights of all Americans, including those with whom I often disagree. It’s called…integrity. As for Constitutional liberals…well…I have yet to see any evidence that such an entity even exists.

As for the ilk of Randa Jarrar, and the merry mob of cowardly, yet politically expedient liberal loons who feel as she does…feel free to go to hell…where neither she, nor they will neither be encumbered nor offended by the likes of the late Barbara Bush again.

Distasteful? Maybe. Offensive? Perhaps to some. Well within my right to freedom of expression so guaranteed by the 1st Amendment?

Absolutely.
