Defining the Democrat Party…Part 1 of 2

By Craig Andresen – Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio

It has often been rightly said, that “those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history, are doomed to repeat them,” but what does that mean, exactly?mis 1

It means that history is where we make both great strides forward, and where we make our mistakes and what we learn from both should guide our steps in the future. From what we did right, we grow in the future. We use those things as stepping stones to greater and greater things. We improve on our successes to achieve even greater successes.

From our mistakes, we should also learn what not to do again. From our history’s failures, we should learn what to do to prevent future failures of a like nature.

Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it. In other words, those who fail to learn for their history’s failures, are doomed to thus fail again by repeating those failures in the future.

Einstein once said that “doing the same thing over and over again, while expecting a different result, is the definition of insanity.”

I submit, that by combining the two quotes, one can find the very definition of the democrat party.

To illustrate this point, let’s look at four prime examples.

First…Federal crime statistics are what they are…irrefutable numbers…and those mis 2numbers show that the ten most dangerous cities in America, with populations over 200,000, are all under the control of democrats, and have been for a long time.

“Detroit, which in 2015 ranked as the nation’s most dangerous city, has not had a Republican mayor since 1961. The second most dangerous city in 2015 was Oakland, California, a Democrat stronghold since 1977. Third was Memphis, in Democratic hands since 1991. Fourth was St. Louis, which has been led exclusively by Democratic mayors since 1949. Fifth was Cleveland, where no Republican has been mayor since 1989. Sixth was Baltimore, Democrat-led since 1967. Seventh was Milwaukee, which has elected only Democratic mayors since 1908. Eighth was Birmingham, which has been Democrat-run since 1975. Ninth was Newark, a Democrat bastion since 1933. And tenth was Kansas City, Missouri, which has not seen a Republican mayor in a quarter-century.”

Again, facts are facts, and the poorest big cities in America also feature long time democrat rule. In fact…those poorest cities in America haven’t had republican mayors in a very long time.

Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list) hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961;Buffalo, NY (2nd) hasn’t elected a Republican Mayor since 1954; Cincinnati, OH (3rd)… sincemis 3 1984; Cleveland, OH (4th)… since 1989;  St. Louis, MO (6th)…. since 1949; El Paso, TX (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor; Milwaukee, WI (8th)… since 1908; Philadelphia, PA (9th)… since 1952 and Newark, NJ (10th)… since 1907.

Yet it has been democrat candidates, election cycle after election cycle who have always promised to fix the problems in all these cities, and election cycle after election cycle…democrat voters have elected them…doing the same thing over and over again…expecting a different result and having never learned from the failures of their own history.

Second…in several American cities, since the day of president Trump’s inauguration, we have seen masked mobs of democrats wreaking havoc, committing arson and engaged in mis 6orchestrated tactics of intimidation complete with violent attacks and assaults against those with whom they, the masked mobs, see as their enemy…Republicans.

Again, there is a noteworthy historical precedent for these actions which began in 1866. That date marked the founding of another mob of masked democrats who also employed terroristic attack tactics, arson, and violence for the sole purpose of intimidating those that that particular masked mob of democrats saw as their enemies…I’m talking about the KKK.

The KKK was founded and run by democrats from day one, and while racism was certainly one of the KKK’s leading principles…it was their abject hatred of Republicans, the party of Lincoln, which drove them to expand and dominate the south after the Civil War.

Naturally, democrats today try to divest themselves of this failure in their history, but facts are stubborn things. The KKK elected its first Grand Wizard in 1868,  Nathaniel Bedford Forrest, and some decades later, his grandson had this to say of his grandfather…”I have never voted for anmis 5y man who was not a regular Democrat.  My father … never voted for any man who was not a Democrat.  My grandfather was …the head of the Ku Klux Klan in reconstruction days….  My great-grandfather was a life-long Democrat….  My great-great-grandfather was…one of the founders of the Democratic party.”

For decades, nearly a century, the KKK and their like-minded democrat affiliates employed terror tactics, assaults, arson, the destruction of private property and even murder to inflict intimidation on Republican voters.

Today, lacking any substance on which to run their candidates, democrats have once again reverted to the same tactics they first began to use in 1866, hoping to achieve a different outcome by doing the same thing over and over again, thus proving that they haven’t learned for their failures of history.

Third…just a few weeks ago, Republicans, having won the presidential election, watched with a sense of astonishment and amusement, as scores of democrats from the halls of mis 4Congress boycotted the inauguration itself, in protest of a newly elected Republican President.

The historical precedent for this moves finds us between the 1860 election of Abraham Lincoln and his inauguration, when, in protest of the newly elected Republican President, seven states seceded from the nation and their combined congressional delegations refused to attend Lincoln’s swearing in ceremony.

It’s not really a stretch at all, as some democrats today are most likely to claim. They will say that it was secession that prevented the democrats of seven states from attending Lincoln’s inauguration ceremony, and not a boycott, but once again, the parallels are too much to be a simple coincidences, as now, California, solidly in the hands of today’s democrat party, is publically, and vocally, launching an movement of secession from the nation in hopes of becoming their own little country, and while the democrats of Lincoln’s day made it quite clear that they did not believe Lincoln was their President,  democrats today are making it clear that to them, Trump is not their President.

This is yet another example of democrats doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different outcome and proving once again that they have not learned from their historical failures.

Fourth…a more recent example of the democrats being addicted to their own failures can be found in their acts of defiance of Republican policies dating back to just the early 1960’s.mis 7

In 1963, in an overt act of defiance aimed directly at Republican policies…Alabama Governor, George Wallace, a democrat, blocked the schoolhouse doors in Tuscaloosa, to prevent the reform of American education…namely the Republican policy of ending segregation of public schools.

That did not end well for the democrats, as the national guard was sent in to ensure that the new Republican policy went forward.

Last week, in Washington DC, democrats once again employed this historic failure of an agenda, when they blocked a schoolhouse door in order to prevent Betsy DeVos, the newly confirmed Secretary of Education, appointed by Republican President Donald J. Trump, from entering the building.

DeVos has a job to do, and that job is reforming America’s public education system…not by ending segregation based on skin color, but by ending segregation based on political ideologies, as democrats have taken full control of our public education system from which they have closed the door to the open flow of thought and self-determination…replacing it with only liberal platform agenda planks.

By blocking DeVos from entering a school, democrats are again doing it all over again, expecting a different outcome, and showing the world they have learned nothing from their failures throughout history.

While those are four primary examples of the two quotes from the top of this article combining to provide the essential definition of the democrat party, allow me to offer a bonus example to put a fine point on it all.

Blocking the door to the schoolhouse in 1963 was such a colossal failure for democrats, that they had to concoct a remedy immediately, or risk losing any potential future elections mis 8because of it.

At one point, shortly after becoming the President, LBJ had this to say about black people…”These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.”

So, what was it he gave them to quiet them down? LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act into law in 1964, as a way of turning a failure into a success…as a way to prevent the democratic party from being swept aside into the ash heap of history, and when he signed it, he mis 9reportedly told a small handful present that in signing the Act…”I’ll have those niggers voting democrat for the next 200 years.”

To be clear, and historically accurate, the Civil Rights Act was not a democrat party idea…it was a Republican policy born of a Republican President, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and his Attorney General, Herbert Brownell, in 1957. To also be historically accurate, a senator by the name of Lyndon Johnson, blocked it, and it wasn’t until Johnson became the President, that he saw political expediency in the Act.

What the democrats did then was to create a voting bloc of which they would claim to stand for, in order to fool them into continuing to cast their votes only for democrats…hence the lists of most dangerour and poorest cities in America from earlier in this article.

Jump forward to today, and what do we see happening?

mis 12Democrats pretending to be the party of inclusion and tolerance, inviting in hundreds of thousands, and if they were to have their way, millions of “refugees” from primarily Islamic countries where America, and Americans are vilely hated to the point that they wish and want us all dead. Add to that the democrat party’s coddling of and open invitations to illegal aliens, coupled with the democrat party’s insistence on erasing our national borders and their willingness to let illegal aliens vote in our elections…and what have you got?

Democrats trying to create more blocs of democrat voters…nothing more, nothinmis 11g less. The democrat party elite is hell-bent on bringing as many illegals, and Muslims into America as possible, convince them all that they are the victims of Republican policies, and reap the rewards of their votes when in fact, the intent of illegal aliens is to reap the benefits of the American taxpayers and the intent of the Islamists is to make all Americans, regardless of political party affiliation, their victims.

What the democrat party gets out of it all, is votes, and thus the power to “fundamentally transform America” into a socialist nation…to take us from a Constitutional Republic to a political ideology…socialism…which has ultimately failed everywhere on earth it has ever been employed.

Do you get it? Democrats think they can do socialism better than it’s even been done, over and over again, while expecting a different result, thus proving that not only have they failed to learn for their own historical mistakes…they have also failed to learn from the mistakes mis 13of others around the world.

The facts revealed in this article do not signal that democrats are stupid…they signal that democrats are desperate, which also makes them dangerous, and in my next article, I will expose exactly what it is that has them so disturbed to the point of desperation.

You will not want to miss it.

  1. Everytime I try and explain this to Democrats I know, they say that the parties “switched” but cant tell me WHEN this shift or switch supposedly occured. They will blindly support their title of democrat, I think, because its a way of saving face by not having to admit that they are to blame for their own circumatance by supporting their own enemy, and then have to actually WORK to improve their lives. Blaming and fingerpointing is…easier.
