Snakes, Weasels and Wise Guys

By Craig Andresen Right Side Patriots http://www.americanpbn.com/

One of the most oft repeated things I hear from Trumpoholics is that their candidate will sww 1clean up the lobbyist corruption in Washington because he, Trump, can’t be bought.

I find it quite interesting that someone who has literally financed the corruption in Washington for decades is the one the Trumpoholics say can end it. In fact, Trumpoholics also often spout off regarding their opinion that Ted Cruz is part of the Washington establishment which would put Cruz in league with the ilk of Mitch McConnell and John McCain and the Trumpoholics pin their blind following to the guy they say is the anti-establishment candidate.

Oh really?

The fact is, Donald Trump has, as recently as 2014, financed the establishment ilk of McConnell and McCain in the attempt to end the Tea Party.

While the Trumpoholics condemn the establishment and the corruption of bought and paid for politicians in Washington…they, for some unfathomable reason, blindly follow a candidate who has personally bought and paid for political favors from Washington’s political cartel as well as financed attempts to squash the very movement designed to rid the Washington’s cartel like hold over We the People.

But let me get back to the lobbyist thing…

While Trumpoholics everywhere claim that their guy is THE guy who will finally stand up against Washington’s lobbyists…they are completely ignoring, 100%, the FACT that their guy hasn’t even rid his own campaign of Washington’s lobbyists.

Case in point number one… Corey Lewandowski.

sww 3Corey Lewandowski is Donald Trump’s strong-armed campaign manager who allegedly sees to it that female reporters are roughed up should they pose a threat, in the nature of a tough question, to the man who would be monarch. That’s his job now, but what did this little man do before becoming Trump’s bought and paid for thug?

Corey Lewandowski was a Washington Lobbyist who followed the money and exhibited a stunning lack of principles in the process.

Lewandowski spent a few years working for the lobbyist firm of Schwartz MSL and while employed there, to buy and pay for political favors from Washington’s political cartel class, Lewandowski lobbied for clients in the technology, healthcare, and green energy industries. These were, in fact, clients who were seeking Obama stimulus money and he was, by most accounts, very good at taking American taxpayer dollars and spreading them around to corporate clients under the guise of stimulus spending.

That all ended at about the end of Obama’s first term as Lewandowski then chased the sww 4money to another lobbying firm, American’s for Prosperity where he immediately took on clients opposed to green energy…the very thing he was lobbying FOR just months earlier.

But there is much more regarding Lewandowski than his lobbyist background that makes Trump’s claims of being the guy to put an end to Washington corruption a bald-faced farce…

Before becoming a Washington lobbyist, Corey Lewandowski  actually worked for the RNC. That’s right…Lewandowsaki was an establishment guy but it gets even worse than that…after his stint with the RNC…Lewandowski campaigned for and became an aide to Congressman Bob Ney of Ohio.

Remember Bob Ney?

He was the Republican establishment Congressman who was heavily and deeply involved in the Abramoff scandal.

sww 5Bob Ney resigned from Congress in 2006 after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy and making false statements in an attempt to cover up his involvement in the Jack Abramoff, Indian lobbying scandal. Ney was identified in the guilty pleas of several others involved in the scandal including those of Jack Abramoff himself, former Tom DeLay deputy chief of staff Tony Rudy, former DeLay press secretary Michael Scanlon and former Ney chief of staff Neil Volz.

The Abramoff scandal, by the way, revolved around the accepting of expensive and gratuitous gifts in return for political favors…thus making Ney one of the bought and paid for politicians of his day but what has this to do with Lewandowski?

Well, Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s now campaign manager was, back then, as an aide to Ney, both publicly and privately pleading for leniency for his boss and referring to Ney as a “consummate professional.”

In fact, Lewandowski had this to say in regard to Bob Ney in a letter written to Judgesww 6 Helen Huvelle who was hearing the case against Ney… “I had the privilege of spending 20 hours a day with Bob seven days a week for over three years. In that time, I learned more about life, people, politics, friendships [sic] and the importance of family than I ever could have imagined. Bob served as a mentor to me, as a surrogate father, and as a best fiiend [sic] all in one.”

As soon as Lewandowski’s mentor, best friend and surrogate father entered his guilty plea and before he was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for his part in the Abramoff corruption, Lewandowski dropped him like a sack of flaming manure.

It’s clear that Lewandowski is a snake in the grass but, can we find a weasel in Donald Trump’s weeds?

Indeed we can…case in point number two…Randy Ross.

Randy Ross is Trump’s Orange County Florida campaign chairman and Ross, who was a sww 7registered democrat until just a couple of months before going to work for Trump’s campaign is the same Randy Ross who was arrested for insurance fraud in February of 2015…a charge he pled guilty to by the way.

That guilty plea resulted in a sentence of a $4000.00 fine as restitution, 250 hours of community service and 5 years on probation which means, that as Trump’s Orange County Florida campaign chair, Ross is engaged deeply in the Trump campaign while ON probation.

And what was it exactly that Trump’s Orange County campaign chair did in that insurance fraud case? He filed a claim for $35,000 worth of furniture that he asserted was stolen from his home and it turned out it was furniture he never bought or owned to begin with.

So, there’s the snake and the weasel but what about the wise guy?

Case in point number three…Felix Sater.

sww 8Felix Sater is a direct mob connection of Donald Trump and one apparently left over from Trump’s dear old dad. Sater has deep connections to several mob families including Cosa Nostra, the Genovese and Gambino crime families but what has this Felix Sater to do with Donald Trump.

Sater, back in 2002, had largely taken over a NY developer, Bayrock, which itself was closely tied to organized crime and over the next few years, Sater used Bayrock to launder monies, hundreds of millions of dollars while both skimming and extorting it for several million more dollars for his own personal gain. This was also about the time, in 2002, when Felix Sater claimed to have begun his collaborations  with Trump including Trump SoHo, Trump International Hotel and Residence Phoenix and Trump International Hotel and Residence Ft. Lauderdale.

Of those collaborations, one in particular, Trump SoHo came under fire in 2010 when Reuters reported that, “Donald Trump and the promoters of his Trump SoHo hotel-condominium were sued by buyers who accused them of fraudulently touting out-sized sales figures to encourage them to buy units and inflate the financial project’s health,” which sounds a lot like a trick right out of Felix Sater’s book of dirty tricks.

It bears noting that the 2010 lawsuit against Trump SoHo came a year AFTER Sater all but sww 9skated on a stock fraud and money-laundering scheme that occurred back around 1995. It was in 2009 that a federal court judge passed sentence against Sater for just $25,000.00 on a $60 million dollar scheme in return for Sater’s cooperation in fingering other alleged crime figures on behalf of the federal government.

According to now AG Loretta Lynch, then a NY prosecutor, Felix Sater had worked with the government for a decade to provide, “valuable and sensitive information to the government.” It was information that assisted in putting more than 20 people behind federal bars and that number included members of Cosa Nostra.

As to some of Sater’s other exploits, it has been reported by the NY Times and the BBC, that Sater “sought protection and help from members of the Mafia in resolving disputes with ‘pump and dump’ firms operated by other organized crime groups,” including instances when Felix Sater allegedly employed a “soldier in the Genovese crime family” to resolve a conflict Sater had with a member of the Gambino crime family.

sww 10I think we all know what that means.

In 2011 and 2012, Felix Sater claimed to have worked as a senior advisor to Donald Trump…we know that he was deeply involved with Bayrock when Trump did several “deals” with that developer…and yet now, Donald Trump claims he doesn’t know who Felix Sater is. That claim flies In the face of what he told a reporter from  the BBC just three years ago however when Trump responded to a direct question regarding Sater by saying, “Sometimes we’ll sign a deal and the partner isn’t as good as we’d like.”

Sater was also, at one time, a Wall Street broker who allegedly stabbed another broker, in the neck, with the broken stem of a Margarita glass back in the day but despite the wise guy’s connections to Trump and Trump’s projects, the snake, Lewandowski now claims he has no idea who Sater is and followed that claim up with… “he has nothing to do with the Donald J. Trump for President presidential campaign.”sww 11

Of course, that wasn’t the question as the question asked was with regard to Trump’s alleged ties to organized crime and specifically Felix Sater.

For his part, in sworn and videotaped testimony, Donald Trump now claims he doesn’t know Sater and wouldn’t recognize him if he were sitting in the room.

Oh, there is a little something more concerning Felix Sater, a known associate of some sort of Donald Trump…Sater, as per one of his brokerage buddies, Salvatore Lauria, in the book by Lauria, ‘The Scorpion and the Frog: High Times and High Crimes,’ once attempted to purchase black market missiles…from Osama bin Laden.

Sure, it sounds like this whole missile purchase thing is made up but, of it, Sater himself stated, “I wasn’t buying missiles for myself. We were trying to get missiles off the black market so they wouldn’t be used against U.S. airliners. Buying missiles, in the things that I’ve done … it’s one one-hundredth of the things that I’ve done, one one-hundredth of one percent.”

sww 2So what we have here is a candidate that the Trumpoholics revere as the only candidate who can stop the corruption in Washington, the only one who can put an end to the practices of Washington lobbyists and the only candidate who can take down the Republican establishment, Donald Trump, who has himself financed the establishment in their effort to end the Tea Party and who has, as his campaign director a man, Cory Lewandowski, who has been a part of the establishment and has himself been a lobbyist.

Donald Trump, the only candidate who, according to Trumpoholics, can end corruption in politics, who has, as his Orange County Florida campaign chairman, Randy Ross…a confirmed and corrupt man who pled guilty to insurance fraud, and the only candidate, in the eyes of the Trumpoholics, who can make America great again via his business sww 12acumen,  has business ties, going back more than a decade, with an affirmed, organized crime wise guy, Felix Sater, who has a history of violence, dirty deals, mafia and Cosa Nostra double dealings and is tied to a Trump deal which resulted in a lawsuit for fraud.

Donald Trump, the man Trumpoholics claim is above it all, is in fact, scraping the bottom of the barrel. The man who claims he will fill his cabinet with the best and the brightest has in fact surrounded himself, in his campaign and his business dealings, with snakes, weasels and wise guys, but the real question is…will the Trumpoholics, his blind followers, call him out?

Thesww 13 answer is…no. They will either remain silent or simply attack me as the messenger but know this…if Ted Cruz was in bed with the same ilk of snakes, weasels and wise guys…nobody would be able to shut them the hell up.

Donald Trump has absolutely no business running for any position as a Republican. He should instead be running on the hypocrite party ticket, and his blind following of Trumpoholics would gleefully change their party affiliation to continue drinking his Kool Aid.

  1. I’ve heard them repeat complete falsehoods about Ted Cruz, while swearing by Donald Trump. The man who cannot be bought can’t be bought, because he sold his soul to the big banks years ago. He’s as repulsive as Hillary Clinton, but the Trumpettes don’t care.

  2. A scathing indictment of the men who surround Trump, but one that will be read by too few. The ones that need to hear this message are tone deaf. Their only interest is in blindly supporting the guy that will lose to Hillary – guaranteed. Trump really is the Trojan Horse for the Democrats, and I believe, as many predict, that we might not think that Barry the Destroyer was half bad should Trump be elected by some miracle.
