Obama’s Mocking of Religion is a Trap

So why exactly is religion…most specifically the Christian religion, under such blistering sniping from liberals?ixt 1

We are seeing this on nearly a daily basis and the new Indiana law is nothing more than the cause du jour for the left. From Al, ‘the reverend’ Sharpton’s buffoonish quote, “This is a key moment for the country. Too often in our history, we’ve seen religion used to justify attacks on other people’s rights, from slavery, to Jim Crow, to women’s right to vote,” likening religious freedom and slavery AND  to Obama’s chastising of Christians on Easter Sunday…“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I’m supposed to love, and I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned, but that’s a topic for another day.”

Liberals are quick to condemn religion and to sue over any visage of religion seen in public and they are just as quick to stand up for a freedom FROM religion rather than take up for the Founders and Framers in their vision that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” but to be fair…it is only the second part of THAT statement that lights their delicate, easily offended sensibilities on fire.

So what IS it about religion that liberals find so damn distasteful anyway?

ixt 2Is it because in religion one finds HOPE and the ability to CHANGE rather than finding the same in their chosen Obama messiah?

Perhaps.

Or is it that religion offers a higher form of salvation than one can obtain from the government?

In fact…

Both are true but there IS a deeper reason for the liberal mindset regarding religion and it can easily be found in the writings of Karl Marx as follows:

“The foundation of irreligious criticism is: Man makes religion, religion does not make man. Religion is, indeed, the self-consciousness and self-esteem of man who has either not yet won through to himself, or has already lost himself again. But man is no abstract being squatting outside the world. Man is the world of man – state, society. This state and this society produce religion, which is an inverted consciousness of the world, because they are an inverted world. Religion is the general theory of this world, its encyclopaedic compendium, its logic in popular form, its spiritual point d’honneur, its enthusiasm, its moral sanction, its solemn complement, and its universal basis of consolation and justification. It is the fantastic realization of the human essence since the human essence has not acquired any true reality. The struggle against religion is, therefore, indirectly the struggle against that world whose spiritual aroma is religion.”ixt 3

“Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.”

“The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo.”

“Criticism has plucked the imaginary flowers on the chain not in order that man shall continue to bear that chain without fantasy or consolation, but so that he shall throw off the chain and pluck the living flower. The criticism of religion disillusions man, so that he will think, act, and fashion his reality like a man who has discarded his illusions and regained his senses, so that he will move around himself as his own true Sun. Religion is only the illusory Sun which revolves around man as long as he does not revolve around himself.”

Religion, to Marx then and Marxists now…is nothing but the opium of the people or, more commonly, the opiate of the masses and true inner peace, according to Marxists, can only be found once one does away with religion.

Religion is a threat to liberalism which takes its direction from the Marxist economic model.

If the masses take comfort from religion, they won’t seek comfort from government and in the Marxist world, government is the well-spring of life and never before have the liberals in this country been so close to the forced adoption of socialism or Marxism as they are under the direction of Obama who wrote…“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.”

According to Dr. John C. Drew who knew Obama during their college days…when arguing politics with Obama…“He was arguing a straightforward Marxist-Leninist class-struggle point of view, which anticipated that there would be a revolution of the working class, led by revolutionaries, who would overthrow the capitalist system and institute a new socialist government that would redistribute the wealth.”

Sound famixt 4iliar?

Here’s Obama back during the 2008 campaign…”I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody.”

There are three basic problems with the Marxist ideology…first, eventually, the government WILL run out of other people’s money to redistribute which has always led to the fall of socialism wherever it has been implemented…second…the Marxist/socialist ideology can ONLY make people’s income inequality equal at the bottom and not at the top of the scale and third…in order to bring about the Marxist/socialist ideology…those extolling it must first strip away all other value systems such as gain through a strong work ethic, the driving force of innovation via capitalism and of course…religious values.

As long as the people have faith in something bigger than government…like personal liberties, rights endowed by the creator and religion…whatever religion that happens to be…Marxism and socialism will always fail before it takes hold.

Therefore, liberals, whether they are true Marxists or simply gullible enough to think it just sounds good and willing go along for the ride…must demonize religion and religious freedom…take away the opiate of the masses by making it distasteful to those afraid of being politically incorrect enough to cling to their guns and bibles, so to speak.

ixt 5But let’s be absolutely clear on something here…regardless of one’s faith…this is a political problem…a policy problem and not something that can be prayed away. It must be VOTED out of the system and NO amount of divine intervention will ever rid us of Marxism, socialism or liberalism.

Our candidates for 2016, be they for congress or the White House must be IDEOLOGICALLY and CONSTITUTIONALLY sound but if we are looking for the most religious candidates…we are barking up the wrong tree.

Liberals are more than giddy when we, as Conservatives, fall into their trap of making the social issues the biggest plank in our platform as it serves them well when we split our votes along the lines of religious doctrines.

ixt 6It’s not about who has the most religious candidate as far as liberals are concerned…it’s about whose candidate gets the most votes and if we split OUR votes due to social issues and religious doctrines…it will once again be the LIBERAL candidate who reaps the vote tally reward.

It’s a trap set by Marxists, socialists and liberals and far too many Conservatives, throughout recent election cycles, have taken the bait.

All of this brings us back to the opening question in this article… So why exactly is religion…most specifically the Christian religion, under such blistering sniping from liberals?

What was it that the Marxist, socialist liberal Mayor of Chicago said?

“Never let a crisis go to waste.”

Religious freedom, as in the Indiana Act along with those of so many other individual states and the one signed into law by Bill Clinton back in 1993 are a CRISIS TO LIBERALISM in that they reaffirm the words of the Founders and Framers… “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” and trust me when I tell you that LIBERALS see this as a political… not a social crisis.

This is why the liberals have jumped all over the Religious Freedom Acts…because they don’t want this crisis to go to waste and they are using it, to some degree of success, as bait with which to entrap Conservatives who liberals know well will counter with religion…allowing for more Marxist mocking. Liberals…Marxists…WANT to make these social issues…these issues the religious right will see as hot-button issues THE issues because when WE do…THEY win…the more power they get…the easier it is for them to ixt 7shove religion aside in the true Marxist need for government to be BIGGER than faith.

Here’s my advice…

If, at the end of the day…what you are making the biggest plank in your political platform is edible…it has no business being in your political platform at all.

Don’t allow the Marxists, the socialists and the liberals have their cake and eat it too…now let the Marxists chew on THAT for a while.
