Bush Was Right – Saddam Had WMD

wmd 1“U.S. officials don’t believe the Sunni militants will be able to create a functional chemical weapon from the material. The weapons stockpiled at the Al Muthanna complex are old, contaminated and hard to move.”

That’s the quote from Jen Psaki at the State Department regarding what ISIS just seized late last week in Iraq. They’re not talking about weapons Obama gave them or weapons left by U.S. forces either during the war in Iraq or left there as Obama pulled our forces OUT of Iraq.

What they’re talking about is a facility…once seized and under the control OF U.S. forces before the Obama mandated and foretold to the enemy withdrawal FROM Iraq.

Muthanna was in fact, a carefully held secret so as not to tip off our enemies. Bush kept it quiet and did so at the peril of his own legacy. Bush, not being the narcissist Obama is never felt the need to crow over such things. Not when it was first discovered by our troops, not after nor even since he left office even though it would have benefited him personally.

To have spiked that football would have drawn attention TO it and painted targets on the backs of our men and women in uniform.

Muthanna is, in fact, where Saddam Hussein manufactured and stored…WMD and is now believed to be where the gas he used against the Kurds came from.

It’s the WMD that liberals have for years said never existed and therefore used against Bush. “Bush lied and people died!!! “Bush started an ILLEGAL war because there WERE no WMD in Iraq!!!”

Well, guess what?

He DIDN’T lie after all…did he?wmd 1

Not only were those WMD there before the U.S. went into Iraq…they’re still there today and there’s a damn good reason they sit there right now. Like the statement from the State Department says…the stuff is hard to move.

When such WMD as sarin gas is FRESH it’s dangerous…hard to move and when it’s OLD…it becomes MORE dangerous and difficult to move around. Yes, it does become less potent as well but, as touchy as such deadly materials are on a good day…try moving it or disposing of it in a war zone.

Bush wisely kept his mouth shut regarding this complex and it’s deadly contents and Obama DARED not speak of it or remove it for fear of bursting the liberal’s “Bush lied and people died” bubble. Imagine…had Obama, the American Agent of Islam, let it out that the WMD had been there all along…the damage it would have done to his party’s claims.

What we’re left with is this…plain and simple…Obama knew it was there and pulled out all our troops leaving it unguarded and ripe for the picking by any Islamic terror group that happened along and one did. ISIS came along on their rampage and discovered exactly what Obama and liberals  didn’t want anybody to know about…Muthanna and its stockpiles of WMD and wouldn’t you just know it? Terrorists are terrible at wmd 3keeping such a discovery quiet and they went and started posting it to their anti-social media pages.

So what’s the real story…Was al Muthanna bombed into near oblivion in 1991?

Yes…yes it was.

Were its contents known to the U.N. after that?

Yep.

Did the U.N. destroy equipment and remaining WMD at al Muthanna?

It appears they did. Yes.

And wasn’t most of the complex then torn down by the Iraqis themselves?

Uh huh…most of it was.

So….If all that is correct…how can there be WMD there today?

The answer to that is simple. As U.S. forces took Iraq in 2003, any WMD they discovered was taken TO al-Muthanna and stored in bunkers then sealed. Too dangerous to dispose of in a war zone and with insurgents lurking about while Bush remained in office and more dangerous with each passing year after Obama unfurled his prayer rug in the oval office.

It was contained in sealed bunkers and guarded. Al Muthanna is out in the middle of nowhere and any insurgents coming couwmd 4ld have been seen, contacted and dispatched of before ever getting close to the place or finding out what was being stored there.

That ended in 2011 with Obama’s complete withdrawal of troops and Obama’s failure to leave in place residual forces in Iraq. As the last of our troops left Iraq, al Muthanna and its deadly contents have been waiting for someone to claim them.

ISIS has now done that very thing and if they can find a way to transport the sarin, the VX and the mustard gas stored there, if they can find a way to disperse it in populated areas…the horrors we’ve seen over the past two weeks perpetrated by ISIS will pale by comparison.

And just how dangerous are the chemicals stored at al Muthanna? According to the Telegraph, “The jihadist group bringing terror to Iraq overran a Saddam Hussein chemical weapons complex on Thursday, gaining access to disused stores of hundreds of tonnes of potentially deadly poisons including mustard gas and sarin…. Isis has shown ambitions to seize and use chemical weapons in Syria leading experts to warn last night that the group could turn to improvised weapons to carry out a deadly attack in Iraq.”

And according to Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, a former commander of Britain’s chemical weapons regiment, “It is doubtful that Isis have the expertise to use a fully functioning chemical munition but there are materials on site that could be used in an improvised explosive device. We have seen that Isis has used chemicals in explosions in Iraq before and has carried out experiments in Syria.”

wmd 5What was it Bush said back in 2007 as liberals called for the pull out of our troops from Iraq?

“I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region, and for the United States. It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al Qaeda. It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we’d allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan. It would mean increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.”

For liberals, it’s a bitter pill to swallow and I’m sure they will wash it down with Kool Aid but…Bush was right regarding the WMD and he was right about not leaving Iraq in the hands of al-Qaeda too.

  1. This is wrong….when GWH Bush had our troops blow up a lot of those chemical weapons they came home with GULF WAR SYNDROME. In other words they were exposed to them thmrselves because he had them blow them up. Get it? That’s what I read and the number of our military with Gulf War Syndrome proves it. Also we have used depleted uranium in Iraq so it’s not safe to even have troops there. I also read that Sadaam had some chemical weapons shipped to Syria before we occupied Iraq and as a result those 2 have been shipped out of Syria according to the agreement so we wouldn’t bomb them. If ISIS gets chemical weapons it won’t be from Iraq. As we have learned Saudis and Turkey has been supplying them with them in Syria. Lot of players in this and those supplying ISIS are our allies. Israel has too.

    • Rhondar…

Seriously…you have to stop reading the back of the KOOL AID packets.

  2. But, that doesn’t fit the liberal agenda. It must be false information. (SARC)

  3. Great article, answers many questions about the weapons of mass distruction and George Bush many people have.

  4. Regarding the weapons of mass destruction: on the 700 Club (at that time) & a man said he actually SAW them & yes, they were there!

I have believed this all along.

  5. America get informed this is very good and dependable information for you to share.
