A Crisis to Cover the Cover-up of a Crisis

ENOUGH!!!

As the mega-storm approached, Obama released images of himself sitting in the white house situation room trying to look…”presidential.”

He’s trying to replace the idea that he sat there on 9-11-12 and ordered those who wanted to save lives in Benghazi to stand down.

It’s pathetic and pathetically transparent.

Since September 11th, 2012, Obama has been avoiding the press corps like the plague.

Sure, he’s done interviews. 60 Minutes, Letterman, Leno, The View, Pimp With a Limp, Univision, some wad of nothing with a dead whatever it was on his head from MTV. You get the idea.

Friendly interviews…nothing tough please. Fluff. Meaningless pap.

BULLCRAP.

He’s been in the final weeks of a failing campaign trying to get another 4 years for his failed policies.

If he really stood in front of the press corps, they’ll ask him something tough. Well, at least Ed Henry would but, can’t take THAT chance…Can he?

No WAY.

However, in the last 2 days, Obama HAS stood in front of the press.

I call BULLCRAP!!!

Obama is using hurricane Sandy to magically appear in front of the press knowing full well he won’t have to field a question on Benghazi.

It’s pathetic and pathetically transparent.

The Emperor is using the hurricane as cover to look “presidential” in front of the press while hiding from Benghazi in plain sight.

On Monday, as the storm approached, Obama hopped on the white house briefing room stage and told us THE most ASTOUNDING THING!!!

Obama Voters and Libya – Here’s the Question…

According to Fox News, the ONLY news source covering the Benghazi attack as it SHOULD be covered, Lt. Col. Tony Schafer’s contacts have told him something, disturbing.

VERY disturbing.

From Ltc. Schafer, via his contacts…Obama was IN the White House Situation Room…WATCHING…In REAL-TIME…as the attack on our Consulate in Benghazi took place.

OBAMA was WATCHING.

THIS may well be one of THE most important statements regarding Benghazi we have heard to date…

Ltc. Schafer: “I hate to say this, according to my sources, yes, (Obama)was one of those in the White House situation room in real-time watching this. And the question becomes, ‘What did the President do or not do in the moments he saw this unveiling?’ He — only he — could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something.”

Let that sink in for a moment.

Putting it All on theTable

We are now a week and a day from the election.

What does Obama have left?

Nothing.

He’s running on empty.

The choice could not be more clear.

Mitt Romney is a man of character.

Obama, a man who’s only campaign rhetoric now is character assassination. Last week, his Chicago thugs recruited Gloria Allred to try and embroil Romney is something related to his testimony in a decade old divorce and child custody case.

A judge look at the “evidence” and told Allred to pound sand.

Mitt Romney has an economic plan to grow the national economy, cut taxes without cutting revenue, put us on a path toward energy independence, focus education on students, teachers and schools instead of the teacher’s unions, create jobs by allowing private industry to flourish and crack down on trading partners who gip the system by manipulating their currency.

Obama has the exact same plan he had 4 years ago which has doubled the deficit and added 6 trillion bucks to the debt, seen 23 million people still looking for work, increased welfare and food stamps to historic levels and led to the most anemic GDP in history.

Mitt Romney understands that peace must be gained through strength, that we must stand with our allies and against our enemies and adversaries, that there can be no daylight between our great nation and the great nation of Israel and that terrorism IS terrorism and we must stay on the offensive against it.

Obama thinks a foreign policy of appeasement and apology combined with his own personal arrogance is the right path.

Mitt Romney has spent 25 years in the private sector growing and managing businesses.

Obama has never run a lemonade stand.

Weekend Edition: Remembering The Hero of Benghazi

Somewhere in the home of Charles Woods there is an American Flag.

That Flag has been crisply folded, by United States Marines, into a triangle.

Only the stars are showing.

Most likely, that folded Flag is in a frame. It might be made of oak or, perhaps walnut.

Charles Woods may have placed that Flag where it can be seen by all who enter his home or, he may have placed it in a more private place. A study or a home office.

Make no mistake though. That Flag is there.

For the rest of his life, Charles Woods will have that Flag but not his son.

American Flags, crisply folded by United States Marines are for Heroes.

I suspect, like most Heroes, Tyrone Woods would not use that label to describe himself.

Tyrone Woods would, most likely, tell you he was just doing his job.

What job was Tyrone Woods doing when he earned that crisply folded Flag?

Weekend Edition: IT WAS TREASON – Arrest Obama

Last Thursday, I wrote an article titled, “Obama & Libya – A Case Study in Treason” and in that article I stated, “When a president fails to lift a finger to protect Americans, at home or abroad, in the face of overwhelming intelligence and evidence, by ignoring obvious warning signs and the advice of those entrusted to offer such protection…”

“It is treason.”

I meant every word and yes, I am well aware of the weight of the word, “treason.”

I do not nor have I ever used it lightly. I see that word bandied about on social media and while I understand full well the passion of those who use it, I rarely, if ever, believe that the issues to which it is applied, truly rise to that level.

This situation, in Libya, I am convinced…Does.

To explain, let’s first look at the legal definition and it’s context within our Constitution.

Definition of Treason in the Constitution:

“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”

Legal Definition of Treason:

The betrayal of one’s own country by waging war against it or by consciously or purposely acting to aid its enemies.

Under Article III, Section 3, of the Constitution:

Any person who levies war against the United States or adheres to its enemies by giving them Aid and Comfort has committed treason within the meaning of the Constitution. The term aid and comfort refers to any act that manifests a betrayal of allegiance to the United States, such as furnishing enemies with arms, troops, transportation, shelter, or classified information. If a subversive act has any tendency to weaken the power of the United States to attack or resist its enemies, aid and comfort has been given.

Day by day…Nearly hour by hour, we learn more about what transpired in Benghazi on 9-11-12.

Yesterday, we learned a truly horrific truth.

Friday Fume

The liberal/socialist meltdown continues.

As Obama’s numbers continue to slide, the cheese continues to slip off the crackers of his adoring serfs.

Next week, liberal/socialists will be handing out pre-marked Obama mail in ballots and carrot sticks for Halloween and in New York City…the Frankenstorm will no doubt be blamed on George W. Bush.

THIS week however, their minds are melting faster than a Snickers bar on a Victoria’s Secret model!!!!

We’ve reached the end of another week and it’s now time to buckle up and take a look back.

I’m fuming!!!

Oh for GOD’S sake.

Last week, we FUMED about NASA spending a million bucks planning a menu for astronauts to order from…ON MARS….

Well…Now the greenie weenies are raising a royal ruckus over the possibility of a manned mission to mars…CONTAMINATING THE PLANET WITH HUMAN MICROBES!!!!!

Really?

As we’ve obviously left our microbial poo on the moon…AND IT’S STILL THERE…what exactly is the problem?

Obama & Libya – A Case Study in Treason

When a president fails to lift a finger to protect Americans, at home or abroad, in the face of overwhelming intelligence and evidence, by ignoring obvious warning signs and the advice of those entrusted to offer such protection…

It is treason.

Emails were sent to 400 people in the first 2 hours of the attack in Benghazi indicating that the attack was a terrorist attack.

Those emails went to the State Department.

Those emails went to the FBI.

Those emails went directly to the White House Situation Room.

At the time the email went to the White house Situation Room…Obama was in a meeting with his security team.

The first email – 4:05pm EST

“U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack (SBU).” 

 “The Regional Security Officer reports the diplomatic mission is under attack. Embassy Tripoli reports approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well. Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four COM personnel are in the compound safe haven. The 17th of February militia is providing security support.  The operations Center will provide updates as available.” 

Second Email – 4:45pm EST

“Update 1: U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi (SBU)” 

“Embassy Tripoli reports the firing at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi has stopped and the compound has been cleared. A response team is on site attempting to locate COM personnel.”

Obama’s “New” Plan Sinking Fast

Well, well, well…

With 14 days to go until election day, Obama has finally unveiled his NEW and IMPROVED plan for the next 4 years.

The empty chair and opened an empty binder.

It’s time for a new economic patriotism, rooted in the belief that growing our economy begins with a strong, thriving middle class. Over the past 31 months, American businesses have created 5.2 million jobs. Independent economists project that our economy will create an additional 12 million jobs in the next four years. The President believes we must do even more to grow our economy and strengthen the middle class. The goal of his jobs plan is to strengthen middle-class security by making smart investments in education and training, growing small businesses, promoting technology and innovation, and reducing the deficit.

Good grief…THAT is the opening salvo in the Emperor’s “new” “A Plan for Jobs & Middle Class Security.”

The 23 page glossy pamphlet  goes on to talk about hiring 100 thousand new teachers and building roads and bridges…Raising taxes on the wealthy and using “war savings” to cut the deficit.

1. President Obama’s plan reduces the deficit by more than $4 trillion over the next decade, including $1 trillion in spending cuts he signed into law last summer, and cutting $2.50 in spending for every $1 in additional revenue from the wealthiest families and closing corporate loopholes.

2. The plan makes sure millionaires aren’t paying lower tax rates than many middle-class families.

3. President Obama would commit half of the money saved from responsibly ending wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to reducing the deficit and the other half to putting Americans back to work rebuilding roads, bridges, runways, and schools here in the United States.

Welcome to the new plan…Same as the old plan.

Obama’s Desperate Debate Falls Short

“In nowhere in the world is America’s influence greater today than it was four years ago.”

That was the allegation leveled bt Mitt Romney toward Obama last night in he was 100% correct.

It was clear that both candidates entered the debate with their own strategy.

For Obama, the strategy was to of goad Romney, debase Romney and try to lure Romney into being a pro war president.

For Romney, the strategy was to be presidential, diplomatic, knowledgeable, show that his administration would project strength at every turn on the world stage and turn the debate back to economic policy.

Obama left the debate frustrated that Romney would not take the bait, not be goaded in the directions Obama wanted and stood strong against Obama’s debasing tactics countering them with facts.

Romney left the debate having accomplished each and every one of his strategic goals.

Obama clearly had the edge in the number of “one liners” but, they were snarky, patronizing and intentionally meant to be belittling. Frankly, anything but presidential. Obama’s presentation of those one liners came across as frustrated and petty.

Romney dismissed them all with one simple line: “Attacking me is not an agenda.”

Without say it, that line summed up Obama’s entire campaign.

Regarding the foreign policy portions of the debate, Obama continually reduced his points to the smallest denominator.

Romney Wins Tonight’s Debate by Showing Up

Tonight…The final debate.

Foreign policy.

How exactly will Obama defend his foreign policy?

We’re talking about a foreign policy which has garnered him the endorsements of Vladimir Putin…Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

Well, he killed bin Laden.

Killing bin Laden is NOT a foreign policy. It’s a military strategic strike…Unless of course Obama intends to drop the whole Seal Team Six thing and assert tonight that the raid was carried out by a bunch of pencil pushing diplomats who took the al Qaeda leader down with political correctness.

Of course, we know better don’t we?

Diplomatic political correctness doesn’t take out our enemies…Political correctness only gets OUR people killed.

No matter…Obama WILL try to make the case that killing bin Laden and other assorted terrorists IS a strong foreign policy and reason enough to reelect him.

No matter that he’s snubbed Prime Minister Netanyahu…Suggested TO Netanyahu that Israel return to their pre 1967 borders and that he’s told Sarkosy he doesn’t think much of dealing with the Prime Minister…

He killed bin Laden.

Obama’s foreign policy of appeasement has been a real success…

In Egypt, Obama started his world apology tour back in 2009 and invited the Muslim Brotherhood to be his special guests at the Cairo speech. Obama, back at the beginning of the Arab Spring, when the homicide bombers were starting to bloom…ummm…boom…and the smell of gunpowder filled the air, said Mubarak must go and, go he did. Obama said his special guests from the Cairo speech should have a seat at the table in forming a new Egyptian government. They did.

Obama said the Brotherhood would NOT run for office. They did anyway and NOW, the Muslim Brotherhood CONTROLS Egypt AND they want to shred the Israel/Egypt peace accord.

Well DONE…..

But…He killed bin Laden.
