It’s that time of year again.
The time of year when the world’s despots gather at the den of thieves and have their say while the world watches.
Wednesday, on Yom Kippur, Ahmadinejad will address the Assembly.
At a time when, supposedly, a movie that nobody has seen has inflamed those who ascribe to an ideology, an organization dedicated to the protection of political correctness over the protection of freedom is allowing a worm who has called for Israel to be wiped from the map will allow that worm to verbally assault Israel on Israel’s most holy day.
Absurdity breeds absurdity and within the United Nations, it’s a matter of inbreeding.
When the cur of the Middle East rises to the pulpit, the delegation from Israel will stand and leave. So too will the U.S. delegation.
There are two different reasons for letting their feet speak volumes.
For Israel…It’s a statement of objection not only to the cur but to the organization which owns the pulpit.
For our delegation, under the Obama administration, it’s to save face on the stage.
Among the world’s other wincing excuses for leadership, Obama was there.
Jay “Baghdad Bob” Carney said yesterday, “The president will make it clear that we reject the views in the video that has caused offense in the Muslim world, while also underscoring that violence is never acceptable.”
So we’re back to THAT? After he said a couple of days ago that the terrorist link to that attack was…”Self- evident???”
Obama had to denounce the video.
“I have made it clear, that our government had nothing to do with the video.”
“There is no speech which justifies mindless violence. There is no video which justifies attacks on embassies.”
The world’s misfits have decreed that he do it through their resolution 16/18. That’s the resolution that Hillary Clinton would like to see replace at least PART of our 1st Amendment.
“There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents. There is no video that justifies an attack on an embassy. There is no slander that provides an excuse for people to burn a restaurant in Lebanon, or destroy a school in Tunis, or cause death and destruction in Pakistan.”
Obama actually called for peaceful protest in Syria and correct me if I’m wrong but, I believe that ship sailed long ago.
He also addressed Iran and their desire to develop nukes:
“America wants to resolve this issue through diplomacy, and we believe that there is still time and space to do so. But that time is not unlimited.Make no mistake: a nuclear-armed Iran is not a challenge that can be contained.”
He said there is a coalition of nations holding Iran accountable.
Does IRAN feel they’re being held…Accountable???
Of course, the more time and space given, the closer Iran comes to having the very weapons they can use to wipe Israel from the map.
Obama delivered his eulogy to Chris Stevens and what one could sum up as a eulogy for what was once American exceptionalism and leadership while spitting on the grave of truth and then, he left. He beat it out the door to a standing ovation at the hands of to whom political correctness means much more than freedom and liberty.
The rabid won’t much care as they know he’s far too busy trying to extend his reign to be bothered taking the time to tell them what they want to hear.
For those who still protect the same values which we USED to protect, it’s a slap in the face.
For those somewhere in the middle, like Russia or Venezuela, no matter. They already know that Obama will have more flexibility after the election.
For Israel, Our best and brightest ally in the region, a nation plumb out of cheeks to turn, it’s a clear message that they are on their own.
Obama’s “speech” will be his chance to make his case for reelection to those who have already endorsed him. Chavez, Ahmadinejad, Cuba, Russia and of course, the Muslim Brotherhood…The nation formerly known as Egypt.
He condemned the movie and the violence, the deaths in Syria and elsewhere and the combined delegations of those he condemns listened with a wink and a smile in their black hearts.
Obama scolded a few friends and delivered back-handed apologies for what we used to be and one supposes he’ll stand taller for those who would harm us and our allies than he ever would for us and our allies.
To Obama, no doubt, these are just more bumps in the road.
Like the bodies of 4 Americans coming home from Libya.
Bumps in the road.
Like the Muslim Brotherhood taking control of Egypt and expressing their desire to shred the decades old peace accord with Israel.
Bumps in the road.
Like the 40,000 bodies in Syria.
Bumps in the road.
Like Iran’s burgeoning nuclear weapons program.
Just bumps in the road.
For his part, Prime Minister Netanyahu will speak the day after Ahmadinejad froths.
One can easily expect, as he does every year, Netanyahu will again give the world a lesson in statesmanship and world history.
Did I say every year? I meant to say, every time he speaks.
As the Middle East and North Africa spiral down the rat hole toward war, as Iran predicts WWIII should Israel stand up to their quest for the nuclear weapons Iran would use to wipe them from the map…
Hillary Clinton is having the meetings that Obama is just too busy to have but, even those meeting with HER probably aren’t taking the meetings too seriously.
Why should they?
Clinton has made it clear that she won’t be there for a 2nd Obama term if he gets one and she clearly won’t be there when Romney is the president bringing about a shift in foreign policy direction. Clinton will be non-confrontational, won’t agree to draw any red lines and, with Huma Abedin hovering near by, she’ll toe the line regarding U.N. 16/18 and offer out of pocket apologies.
While the world watches the circus of the inbred absurdity unfold at the den of thieves…
We can all rest easy knowing one thing.
Ahmadinejad will be housed at the Warwick Hotel in New York under the watchful eye of ramped up security including snipers on the roof.
It’s the type of security that would have kept 4 Americans alive in Benghazi.
