To be a forgery, there has to be a change in the facts of the document. Yet there has never been a claim of that. And the document that has been published can and has been compared with the one that was sent, and no official in Hawaii has ever said that there was anything different about it. Once again, only a change in the facts is a forgery. If an “e” looks different on the image than on the physical copy, that is an enhancement or an anomaly of the software. Only if the facts are changed is is a forgery, and no one in Hawaii has said that there has been such a change. In fact, three officials in Hawaii have confirmed that the facts on Obama’s birth certificate are the same as on the document in the files.

Other alleged problems–”kerning.” NO. It is not kerning, it is skipping. Manual typewriters skip. Still another” “Layers”–complex documents make layers in PDF. They are supposed to. Stiil others: “It was prepared in PDF.” No it wasn’t. it was prepared in an Apple document software system.

Another point. Discussion of the image of the document is only that, a discussion of whether it is an enhancement or an anomaly. It is quite possible to get the legal document itself and to compare it, and its paper, and its security paper details, and the raised seal, with others from Hawaii. And it is possible to do this because (1) Obama has the official physical copy on security paper with the seal on the back (where it is supposed to be; (2) and he has actually had it passed around in the White House press room and everyone there got a chance to hold it and examine it and feel the seal.

Now, if birther publications were to ask to see that physical document and show it to recognized document experts such as those from such organizations as the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners or the American Society of Questioned Document Experts or the Association of Forensic Document Examiners–that would indicate that the birther site really thought that there was a forgery. But they have not done that.

IF the birther publication were to ask to see the official legal copy of Obama’s
birth certificate (the one on security paper with the seal) and state that they were going to show it to members of such organizations as the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners or the American Society of Questioned Document Experts or the Association of Forensic Document Examiners, and were turned down by the White House–that would indicate that the White House was afraid of something.

But the birther publications have not done this. They have not asked to see the physical copy. They ask to see the original copy, the one that is in the files in Hawaii and which Hawaii by its own regulations cannot show to anyone other than members of the Hawaii government. And the original copy in the files is not on security paper and does not have the seal on the back, and so it is not an official copy anyway.

Oh, and finally, in the latest round of “investigations” by Sheriff Joe, the names of the “experts” were not even named.

Dr. Neil Krawetz, an imaging software analysis author and experienced examiner of questioned images, said: “The PDF released by the White House shows no sign of digital manipulation or alterations. I see nothing that appears to be suspicious.”

Nathan Goulding with The National Review: “We have received several e-mails today calling into question the validity of the PDF that the White House released, namely that there are embedded layers in the document. There are now several other people on the case. We looked into it and dismissed it. … I’ve confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.”

John Woodman, independent computer professional, said in a series of videos that the claims of fakery that he examined were unfounded.

Ivan Zatkovich, who has testified in court as a technology expert, and consultant to WorldNetDaily: “All of the modifications to the PDF document that can be identified are consistent with someone enhancing the legibility of the document.”

No real expert has called Obama’s birth certificate a forgery.

A majority of people in a majority of Electoral Votes voting against him. That is all. Obama was born in Hawaii, as has been proven overwhelmingly, and he is a Natural Born US Citizen.
