OORAH Katy Perry!! Libs Urge Boycott Over Video

Saturday, March 31st, 2012

There was a time, Korea…WWII…When celebrities loved this country. During those wars and in times of peace, Hollywood and the music industry stood with our troops and were seen waving our flag. It’s not that way now.

Oh sure, some still do but they are few and far between. Country music is pretty darn good at it and a small handful of Hollywood types but, that’s about it.

The ones who make the most noise these days are the Michael Moore and Sean Penn types. They embrace the entitlement society and promote socialism. They run about palling it up with dictators who regard our nation as their enemy and they run to foreign shores to spew their anti-American venom.

They tell us they will leave our country forever if conservatives get elected but, lacking the courage of their convictions, the cowards never follow through.

That’s why people, stars, like Gary Sinise and movies like “Act of Valor” are such a breath of fresh air. Today, Sinise is the exception, not the rule.

It’s also why, when someone you wouldn’t expect to do so, steps up, it’s noteworthy.

Katy Perry has stepped up.

The Day We Discovered Reagan Wasn’t Bulletproof

Friday, March 30th, 2012

It was a sunny Monday and I was a Junior at the University of Nebraska. I’ll never forget that day, March 30th, 1981.

I had arrived at my Econ 101 class a few minutes early, I suppose around 12:20pm. It was a 12:30 class. I had stopped at the vending machine in the hall, as normal, and was drinking a Pepsi and chatting with classmates.

I checked my watch and noted to the guy sitting next to me that Professor Reiffler was late. Reiffler was never late but, it had only been a few minutes so, no big deal, I thought.

Reiffler entered the auditorium from the front as he always did at 12:35pm, went straight to the lectern and made the announcement.

“I am cancelling today’s class. I suggest you all find the closest TV and watch the news. President Reagan was shot just a few minutes ago. Again, I am canc…”

He didn’t need to tell me twice. Nor for that matter, did he need to tell anyone more than once. Before Professor Reiffler could finish his sentence, I, and better than 100 others, were out the door.

Friday Fume

Friday, March 30th, 2012

Oh it’s been another banner week for the liberal/socialist fools, hasn’t it? Normally you wouldn’t see this sort of behavior outside the fence surrounding the Sunny Brook Home for the Politically Deranged.

Are you ready for this week’s tour of the lobotomized liberal/socialist world?

Here we go…

It’s Friday and I’m fuming.

It what may well be the strangest and most ironic interview EVER…

Haywood Carey, an Occupy Wall Street “Financial Officer” sat down with THE WALL STREET JOURNAL this week.

When Carrey opened his OCCU-PIEHOLE…this came out: “If we keep spending at the rate at which we have been doing, we will probably go broke in a month.”

WHAT??? SAY IT ISN’T SO!!!!!

A group of slackers who make couch tators look like overachievers, who would rather sit in a park, crap on cop cars, spread disease, and whine about how they don’t have what rich people have…

IS ABOUT TO RUN OUT OF MONEY?????

How could this possible happen?

Oh yeah…Capitalism.

According to the WSJ, “The Occupy Wall Street General Assembly voted this weekend to halt spending on new projects, but will continue to fund housing, food, clothing, and transportation for volunteers.”

Heroes and Martyrs…We All Have Them

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

The event took place on January 23, 1945, near Tettingen, Germany.

Master Sergeant Oresko’s official Medal of Honor citation was read to him on October 30th 1945 by  Harry S. Truman.

M/Sgt. Oresko was a platoon leader with Company C, in an attack against strong enemy positions. Deadly automatic fire from the flanks pinned down his unit. Realizing that a machinegun in a nearby bunker must be eliminated, he swiftly worked ahead alone, braving bullets which struck about him, until close enough to throw a grenade into the German position. He rushed the bunker and, with pointblank rifle fire, killed all the hostile occupants who survived the grenade blast. Another machinegun opened up on him, knocking him down and seriously wounding him in the hip. Refusing to withdraw from the battle, he placed himself at the head of his platoon to continue the assault. As withering machinegun and rifle fire swept the area, he struck out alone in advance of his men to a second bunker. With a grenade, he crippled the dug-in machinegun defending this position and then wiped out the troops manning it with his rifle, completing his second self-imposed, 1-man attack. Although weak from loss of blood, he refused to be evacuated until assured the mission was successfully accomplished. Through quick thinking, indomitable courage, and unswerving devotion to the attack in the face of bitter resistance and while wounded, M/Sgt. Oresko killed 12 Germans, prevented a delay in the assault, and made it possible for Company C to obtain its objective with minimum casualties.

The event took place on On September 8, 2009, near the village of Ganjgal, Afghanistan.

Corporal Dakota L. Myer’s official Medal of Honor citation was read to him on September 15th, 2011, by Barack Hussein Obama.

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the repeated risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty as a member of Marine Embedded Training Team 2-8, Regional Corps Advisory Command 3-7, in Kunar Province, Afghanistan, on 8 September 2009. When the forward element of his combat team began to be hit by intense fire from roughly 50 Taliban insurgents dug-in and concealed on the slopes above Ganjgal village, Corporal Meyer mounted a gun-truck, enlisted a fellow Marine to drive, and raced to attack the ambushers and aid the trapped Marines and Afghan soldiers. During a six hour fire fight, Corporal Meyer single-handedly turned the tide of the battle, saved 36 Marines and soldiers and recovered the bodies of his fallen brothers. Four separate times he fought the kilometer up into the heart of a deadly U-shaped ambush. During the fight he killed at least eight Taliban, personally evacuated 12 friendly wounded, and provided cover for another 24 Marines and soldiers to escape likely death at the hands of a numerically superior and determined foe. On his first foray his lone vehicle drew machine gun, mortar, rocket grenade and small arms fire while he rescued five wounded soldiers. His second attack disrupted the enemy’s ambush and he evacuated four more wounded Marines. Switching to another gun-truck because his was too damaged they again sped in for a third time, and as turret gunner killed several Taliban attackers at point blank range and suppressed enemy fire so 24 Marines and soldiers could break-out. Despite being wounded, he made a fourth attack with three others to search for missing team members. Nearly surrounded and under heavy fire he dismounted the vehicle and searched house to house to recover the bodies of his fallen team members. By his extraordinary heroism, presence of mind amidst chaos and death, and unselfish devotion to his comrades in the face of great danger, Corporal Meyer reflected great credit upon himself and upheld the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.

On November 11th, 2011, 94 year old Nicolas Oresko, our nation’s oldest living recipient of the Medal of Honor and Dakota Myer, our nation’s most recent living recipient of the Medal of Honor met at the annual Veteran’s Day Parade in New York City.

Take a good look.

These are the sorts of people Conservatives call heroes. They span generations and hundreds of years. They come in all colors but they fought, and fight, for only 3 colors.

Red…White and Blue.

These are OUR heroes. They fight for freedom and liberty. They fight for us and for others around the world. They do not seek personal gain from their efforts nor do they seek fame. They were doing their jobs.

They don’t regard themselves as heroes. It’s our job to honor them as such and to never forget what they have done. We call them what they will not call themselves.

Liberals have heroes too.

Take a good look.

They fight for what others have. They DO seek personal gain and/or fame.

Liberal heroes feel entitled to their status and will shout about it until they are recognized and they wear their arrest record as their badge of honor.

Conservatives also have martyrs.

Take a good look.

They come in all colors. Those pictured above are but a small handful of the hundreds of thousands who went before them over the decades and centuries. These are the ones who fought for the exact same ideals as did our heroes but never made it back alive.

Liberals have martyrs too.

Take a good look.

A liberal martyr is the flavor of the day or the week. They will be left behind by liberal heroes just as soon as a new and more politically expedient martyr comes along.

The heroes of Conservatives give of themselves to their country to provide us freedom.

The heroes of liberals feel entitled that their country provide for them what others have earned.

The martyrs of conservatives gave all they had.

The martyrs of liberals are exploited for all they’re worth.

Who we honor and hold in high regard and how we do it is a direct reflection of the regard with which we hold our nation.

Some time today, stand in front of a mirror.

Take a good look.

The Race to Cash in on Racism

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

“There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping
the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before
the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his
grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a
certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to
get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only
an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through
which to make themselves prominent before the public..”

Quote by: Booker T. Washington
(1856-1915) African American political leader, educator and author
Date: 1911

Seer, Soothsayer?

A man with an all too uncommon sense of common sense?

Booker T. Washington was not only right, he was foretelling the future.

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin “event” in Florida, we now have a plethora of fools trying to cash in on the tragedy.

Booker T. may as well have been talking directly about Jesse Jackson and/or Al Sharpton. These guys, and others like them, are tragedy chasers. They run hither and yon, hop scotching about the country, and occasionally overseas, attaching themselves to one tragic event after another but…only where the victims look like them, from a distance.

Obamacare…1 Justice…1 Word…The Tipping Point

Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

Obamacare, the signature legislation of Obama and that which liberal/socialists hold as a triumph, is on the ropes. With 2 days of Supreme Court arguments complete and but 1 day to go, even liberal pundits are scared Obamaless.

Upon the bench, there are 4 liberal Justices…4 Conservative Justices…And 1 swing vote.

It is NOT just Obamacare which hangs in the balance. The future of the republic is at stake. The Constitution is at stake. The intentions of the framers…Also is on the edge of oblivion. The decision, which is expected in June, will either save our Constitution and the intent of the founders that government should be limited, or toss them from the proverbial cliff in favor of socialism.

At the center of this most important decision both figurative and literally, is a single Justice.

Anthony Kennedy. Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Upon HIS shoulders rests the future of the republic.

Obamacare…SCOTUS Decision WILL Affect the Election

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

Being a political commentator entails many things. It means being up to speed on the widest variety of issues. It means putting yourself out there as a target. It means having passion and the courage of your convictions.

It means offering your opinions and analysis to the choir and the angry mob.

Sometimes, it means putting something out there that won’t make you popular with the choir. This may well be one of those times but, if you read through the entire piece, you’ll see where I’m coming from.

Obamacare is currently being heard as a case before the  Supreme Court . As of this writing, 1 day down, 2 to go. What conservatives want the most could well be the worst thing for this nation.

Let me put that another way.

What LIBERALS want the most, could be the BEST thing for this nation.

Oh boy…is it getting hot in here or is it just me?

Trayvon Martin: The Race to Division

Conservatives…

We’re better than this. Much better. You may not know it by watching your social media threads, but trust me…

We ARE better than this.

Has it now come to the point, that while trying to MAKE a point, we are going to make the exact point liberals…OBAMA…wants us to make?

Are there discrepancies in the Trayvon Martin story? Yep. Was it racially motivated? Maybe…maybe not. Does it matter?

Well, that depends.

It doesn’t depend on what color YOUR skin might be…It DOES depend on whether or not you WANT it to matter.

Obama WANTS it to matter. LIBERALS want it to matter. JESSE JACKSON AND AL SHARPTON WANT IT TO MATTER. THE ACLU AND THE NAACP WANT IT TO MATTER.

And judging by what is floating about out there on social media…way, WAY too many conservatives seem to THINK it should matter.

Bull crap.

An Anti American, an Idiot and a Hypocrite

Saturday, March 24th, 2012

In the case of Snider vs City of Cape Girardeau Missouri, the District Court, Eastern District of Missouri, Southeastern Division has found, by the law, that Frank L. Snider is protected via the 1st Amendment from violation resulting from his shredding of an American flag.

By the law of unintended consequences, Frank L. Snider III has been found guilty of being Anti-American, an idiot and a hypocrite.

First, the law.

Back in 1989, the United States Supreme Court found that burning an American flag was protected as free speech. Previous to that decision, the state of Missouri, in 1980, passed a law making it a misdemeanor to desecrate an American flag but, after the 1989 Supreme Court ruling, Missouri failed to remove their desecration law from the books.

On October 20th, 2009, Snider, who at the time lived at 901 S. Benton St. in Cape Girardeau tried, in his front yard, to burn an American flag. Snider was inept enough to fail in that attempt and decided instead, to slice the flag to bits and throw its remains about his yard and into the street.

Friday Fume

Friday, March 23rd, 2012

Well, we’ve survived another week and I have to tell ya, were it not for the pressure release valve at the end of the week…

I might not survive the weekend!

My friends…

It’s Friday and yep…

I’m fuming

Oh for crying out loud…

Today, we’ll start our tour of liberal Looney Tunes in New Jersey. It was at a 7-11 in Cumberland County where one Brittany Glanville, a card carrying entitlement glutton, wanted what she wanted and she wanted it RIGHT THEN!!!

When police got there, Glanville was in the process of climbing over the counter and attacking the clerk, who has not yet been named, presumably because the 7-11 clerk is in the process of buying a couple of vowels for his or her name.

Oh…it wasn’t the money in the drawer that Glanville wanted NOR was it a fist full of lottery cards…no, no, no…

Glanville wanted a SAUSAGE and low and behold…the 7-11 was OUT OF SAUSAGES AT THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT!!!

Probably a good thing she didn’t go in there for a box of over-price Fruit Loops…

SHE’D BE A CEREAL OFFENDER!!!
