Obama, the Emperor, Has No Clothes

None of this should come as any surprise. None of it. The National Patriot has all but predicted it, and now it’s coming to pass.

The Obama doctrine is coming home to roost in the most dangerous part of the world and the result will be an even more dangerous world.

Last week, I posed the question, “What’s next for Libya?”

In that article, I pointed out how the vacuum had been created with the ouster of Gaddafi and how the Muslim Brotherhood was standing in the wings.

Yesterday, as the Libyan National Transitional Council declared liberation following the killing of Gadaffi, they went exactly where I knew they would go.

That council has made it crystal clear that Sharia Law will be the basis of their new government which ensures that their people, the Libyans who fought for their freedom from a brutal dictator of 42 years, will now see it replaced by an even more brutal regime.

As the Libyan Council was making Sharia their new law of the land, Obama offered these words:

“After four decades of brutal dictatorship and eight months of deadly conflict, the Libyan people can now celebrate their freedom and the beginning of a new era of promise.”

Freedom? There is no freedom under Sharia.

A new era of promise? A promise of what? More brutality? More murder at the hands of the government? More stoning of women? More repression? More hatred of the west?

How is any of that “new?”

Obama can continue to put lipstick on the pig, but it’s still a pig – and his words ring hollow. We KNOW this is what he wanted all along for Libya. It’s what he wanted in Iran which is why he didn’t get involved there. It’s what he wanted in Egypt which is why he DID get involved there, it what he wants for Iraq which is why he allowed negotiations for an ongoing presence there to fall through and it’s what he wanted in Libya too.

The Emperor Has NO Clothes.

Meanwhile, with tensions on the rise in Pakistan after the killing of bin Laden and a tenuous at best relationship between that country and ours hanging by a thread, Hamid Karzai has stated that should Pakistan and the U.S. go to war, he and Afghanistan will side with Pakistan.

In an interview with a Pakistani TV station, Karzai stated,“If fighting starts between Pakistan and the U.S., we are beside Pakistan. If Pakistan is attacked and the people of Pakistan need Afghanistan’s help, Afghanistan will be there with you.”

One should be careful not to read TOO much into the words, any words of Karzai as he is known to make rather outlandish statements and has a history of corruption but, SOME things CAN and SHOULD be taken from this.

Afghan lawmakers were none too pleased by the Karzai statement and quickly tried to dismiss it which is evidence of the power struggle between lawmakers and Karzai which could lead to unrest down the road. That unrest won’t happen while U.U. Troops are in the country but, as we all know, those troops are scheduled to start pulling out and be gone by 2013. Once that troop removal is complete…watch out.

Pakistan has been harboring several different terrorist factions for years and therefore are at odds with the U.S. which destabilizes an already unstable region.

It is a combination of Obama’s weakness and the Obama doctrine which provides HOPE for CHANGE to those who most closely support Sharia and terror in the region…the Muslim Brotherhood.

Through his continued efforts of destabilization in that region and by offering support, including financial support to a new government bent on the implementation of Sharia law, Obama legitimizes a form of law and governments which violate human rights. Obama’s constant praise of the U.N. which offers positions of power to countries under Sharia law also lends legitimacy to those who violate human rights.

The United States will not regain its position on the world stage of standing for freedom and democracy and as a nation which upholds the basic rights of people as long as Obama and the Obama doctrine remains in place.

The bottom line is, in a post Gaddafi Libya, Libyans are no more free today than they have been for the last 42 years and other countries in that region are closer to being controlled by forces of evil and terror than ever before.

As for liberals who have crowed about Obama “getting it just right” regarding his maneuvers in Libya and throughout the region, they, along with Obama, stand against human rights and with groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood in creating the widest base for world terror there has ever been.
