Unfortunately, most Americans are so mired in their own concerns.

Things like just affording to put food on their own table, while the costs of provided this only continue to creep higher, that they aren't paying attention to the world of politics, often believing it doesn't affect them until the presidential elections come around. Being able to afford gas for their vehicles, childcare, healthcare, education costs, etc. so overwhelm so many of us that no one has the time to take their head out of the hole, stop and take a good look around and find out what is taking place.

I almost believe this is part of the strategy. Keep people so focused on everyday survival, they won't have time to focus on the cause of just why they are struggling so much.

Thanks for articulating the anger and frustration many of us who are paying attention and wish that others would.
